Al Quoz isn't one address, which is why a fixed pickup counter is the wrong answer here. When you rent a car in Al Quoz with us we bring it to the actual unit: a warehouse door in Industrial 3, a studio off Alserkal Avenue, a flat in Al Khail Gate. We collect the same way. Parking across most of the area is still free and open, so unlike the tower districts the question isn't where the car can wait. It's which gate your daily run crosses, and how much vehicle the work actually needs.

The vehicle matters more here than the parking

Most Al Quoz rentals are working vehicles, so start with the job. If you're running a business out of an Industrial 3 or 4 unit and your week is suppliers, the bank and back, a compact does everything you need and parks in the forecourt without thought.

Collecting stock, moving gear between units, or clearing out a fit-out job is a different problem. That's when a small SUV or a van earns its cost, and it's cheaper to book the size you need than to make three trips in a saloon. We'd rather ask what you're carrying than move you up a class.

Around Alserkal Avenue the smaller car wins again. There are over 500 RTA bays on 6A Street and the roads beside it, but on an opening night they go, and a compact finds the gap a larger car won't.

Delivery to a unit, not a counter

Give us the unit or building number and a time and we're there. Warehouse forecourts and the open lots across the industrial blocks are free and rarely full during working hours, so the car sits outside your door without a meter. We do the licence check and the walkaround at the unit, and you're driving within a few minutes.

The residential side works the same way. Al Khail Gate and the accommodation buildings have their own parking areas, and we deliver to the entrance or the visitor bay, whichever your block allows. If you're collecting near Alserkal at a busy time, have us come to the studio instead of circling 6A Street.

Sandwiched between two roads, and what that costs

Al Quoz sits between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road, and that position, not the distance, sets your toll bill. Errands inside the area cross nothing at all. A full working day here can cost you zero in Salik, which is not something you can say from Dubai Marina or Al Barsha.

Drive out and the gates count. North on Sheikh Zayed Road takes you through Al Safa, and Al Khail Road toward Downtown or Business Bay picks up Business Bay Crossing. Since 1 June 2026 the charge includes VAT, so a peak crossing is AED 6.30 between 06:00 and 10:00 and again between 16:00 and 20:00, AED 4.20 off-peak, and AED 4.20 flat on Sundays. It's free from 01:00 to 06:00, which is worth knowing if you run early deliveries.

A commute to Downtown and back at rush hour is two crossings. Across a working month that's a real line on the invoice, so it pays to know which road you'll default to before you book.

Long hires, no deposit, and how the charges settle

Plenty of Al Quoz rentals run for months rather than days, and that's where holding no deposit stops being a marketing line. Nothing is blocked against your card for the length of the hire, so the working capital stays where it belongs.

Salik and fines are reconciled after the car goes back. Every crossing is charged to the vehicle automatically, and we pass on the exact amount with the original charge shown rather than a rounded estimate. Camera coverage along Sheikh Zayed Road is heavy, and the limit drops sharply as you come off it into the industrial grid. If a fine does land, we pass it on at the government amount with a flat admin fee and tell you what triggered it. Debit cards are fine at booking.

FAQ — Common Questions About Al Quoz

Can you deliver a car to my warehouse in Al Quoz Industrial?

Yes, and it's how most rentals here start. Give us the unit number and street in Al Quoz Industrial 1 to 4 and we bring the car to the forecourt, do the licence check there, and hand it over. The open lots and warehouse frontages are free and usually have room during working hours, so the car can sit outside your door. Collection at the end happens at the same unit.

Is parking free in Al Quoz?

In most of it, yes. The industrial blocks are largely unmetered, with open lots and warehouse forecourts you can use without paying, which is unusual for this part of Dubai. The exception worth knowing is Alserkal Avenue, where the RTA runs paid bays on 6A Street and the roads around it. Those fill on event evenings, so if you're collecting the car near a gallery opening, ask us to come to your studio instead.

Will I pay Salik driving around Al Quoz?

Not for local running. Al Quoz sits between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road, and you can do a full day of errands inside the area without crossing a gate. You start paying when you leave: Al Safa if you head north on Sheikh Zayed Road, Business Bay Crossing if you take Al Khail toward Downtown or Business Bay. Each crossing is AED 6.30 at peak and AED 4.20 off-peak since VAT was added on 1 June 2026, and we pass it on at cost.

What size vehicle should I rent for moving stock between units?

A van or a small SUV, depending on what you're carrying. A saloon works for samples and paperwork, but it stops making sense the moment you're moving boxes, materials or fit-out gear, and two extra trips cost more than the class upgrade. Tell us what's going in the back when you book and we'll suggest the size rather than defaulting upward. For supplier runs and bank errands, a compact is genuinely enough.

Can I rent for a month in Al Quoz without a deposit?

Yes, and long hires are a large share of what we do here. We hold no deposit at all, so nothing is frozen against your card for the length of the rental, which matters when the car is a business cost rather than a holiday one. Salik and any fines are reconciled after the car comes back, at the amount recorded against it, with a flat admin fee on fines only. A debit card is accepted at booking.
