The Hyundai Elantra 2025 is the newest version of Hyundai's compact sedan on our fleet, and it's the one to book if you want a current cabin and the sharp, low-slung styling that makes this car look pricier than it rents for. We deliver it across Dubai in one to two hours, so a late booking is no problem, and we take whatever's easiest on arrival: cards, cash, bank transfer, Apple Pay or Google Pay. What this page sorts out is who the newest Elantra actually suits, and where an older year or a bigger sedan would serve you better. For a resident or a visitor after a smart, low-cost car for the week, it's an easy recommendation.
The reason to pay for the 2025 over an older Elantra is inside. This is the current car, so the dash is built around a wide screen, the switchgear feels crisp, and the tech responds quickly rather than lagging when you're pairing a phone at the lights. The angular exterior reads as a class up from a plain economy sedan, and people notice it in a hotel forecourt.
It's a five-seater, and two up front have plenty of room. Two adults in the back are comfortable for city hops, though the coupe-like roofline means a tall passenger will brush the headliner on a longer run. For a couple or a small family, the space is right where it needs to be.

The 2.0-litre petrol returns around 6.5 litres per 100 km in mixed use, and on the 47-litre tank that's a genuine week of errands, dinners and airport runs before you need a station. In practice you'll fill up once on a normal city week, more only if you're piling on highway miles. The daily allowance runs to 250 km, which comfortably covers Marina to Downtown, mall trips and a DXB collection, with room left over for a day out to the northern emirates before the 1 AED per extra kilometre applies.
The boot holds about 402 litres, which is large for a compact sedan and the reason this car handles airport duty better than its footprint suggests. Two big suitcases and a couple of soft bags load in cleanly for a DXB or DWC pickup. Push to three full-size hard cases and something ends up on the back seat, so a family travelling heavy should look at a Sonata. For most trips, the load space is more than the outside of the car promises.
Cooling matters here from May through September. Left in the sun at 45 degrees the cabin gets fierce, and what counts is how fast it recovers. The Elantra's climate system drops the temperature to comfortable within a few minutes of driving, the front vents hit hard, and rear outlets keep back-seat passengers from baking on the school run or the drive to the airport. Open the windows for a few seconds first to clear the trapped heat and it settles even quicker.
At 4675 mm the Elantra looks bigger than it drives. It slots into standard bays without drama, the rear camera earns its keep in tight multi-storey basements around the Marina, and the 135 mm of clearance clears Dubai's speed bumps and mall ramps without you wincing. On the move the 150 hp 2.0-litre is smooth and quiet in city traffic, calm at a 120 cruise on the E11, and honest about the fact that a hard overtake asks the automatic for a moment first. A couple of things fall to you as the renter: Salik tolls run on your account as you pass each gantry, and any RTA fines during the rental are yours. A child seat is required for under-fours and we can fit one on request.
Rent the Elantra 2025 if you want the newest cabin and tech in an economical sedan, with a big boot, low fuel bills and styling that punches above the rate. For a value-conscious renter who still wants a current car, this is the pick, and the fast delivery makes booking it painless.
Choose an older Elantra if the newest interior isn't the point and you'd rather save a little on a car that drives much the same. And step up to a Hyundai Sonata if you regularly carry four adults wanting full rear headroom, or your week is mostly high-speed highway running. For everyone in between, the 2025 Elantra is the smart, current, low-cost choice.
