The DB12 is the sharper, more modern of the two, with a stiffer feel and a better interior. If both are available and you're driving distance, take the DB12. The DBS, when we have one, is the harder-edged super-GT above them, louder and faster, better suited to someone who already knows they want the drama.

Then there's the DBX, and it solves a real problem. It's the only Aston here that seats four adults in comfort with luggage, which makes it the one family or group choice in the lineup. You get the badge and the cabin without compromising on space, and it handles a loaded boot, child seats, and a desert-resort weekend the way the coupes simply can't.
