Visibility out is good and the turning circle is tight, so reversing into a gap or pulling a U-turn on a wide road is genuinely simple. The flip side is ground clearance of 141 mm, which is on the low side, so ease over the harsher speed bumps and the raised lips at mall entrances rather than charging them.

The drive, and where it's happy

Under the bonnet is a 1.2-litre petrol making 84 hp through an automatic gearbox, driving the front wheels. That's a sensible match for what this car is for. It's responsive enough around town, pulls away cleanly from lights, and the automatic means the constant stop-start of Dubai traffic never becomes a chore. On Sheikh Zayed Road it'll happily hold 120, though there's not much in reserve beyond that, so plan your overtakes on the open highway rather than expecting instant punch.
