Gmc Yukon 2024 - start from 748 AED / day

The GMC Yukon 2024 is the rental you take when a crossover genuinely isn't enough, and we deliver it across Dubai in one to two hours. This is a full-size, body-on-frame SUV with a V8 up front and eight seats inside, which is a different category from the family seven-seaters that share a showroom with it. The case for it is simple: real size, real power, and the presence that comes with both. If you're moving a large group with serious luggage, towing, or just want a commanding seat above the traffic on the way to DXB, that's what you're paying for. This page is about whether you need that much car, because most people don't, and the Yukon doesn't pretend otherwise.

The V8 and what it pulls

The Yukon runs a 5.3-litre V8 making 355 horsepower and 519 Nm of torque through a 10-speed automatic, with four-wheel drive. That's a proper engine moving a heavy SUV, and it shows in the way it gathers speed without fuss even fully loaded. Eight people, a roof of luggage, a long run up the E11, and it still cruises relaxed with plenty in reserve for an overtake. The four-wheel-drive system gives it grip the road-only crossovers can't match, which matters if your trip pushes onto rougher tracks out toward Hatta. None of this is subtle, and that's the appeal. The cost is fuel, and a V8 this size is honest about its appetite.

Space for eight, and the luggage to go with them

This is the Yukon's strongest card. The third row seats adults properly, not as a token bench, and there's still around 720 litres behind it with all eight seats in use. That means you can collect a full group from the airport with their cases at the same time, which the compact seven-seaters simply can't do. Fold the rear rows for a smaller party and the load bay becomes enormous, swallowing a week's luggage for a family plus the bulky extras most cars make you leave behind. If your week genuinely involves a crowd and their gear together, nothing in the family-SUV bracket comes close.

Fuel, and the running cost to expect

A 5.3-litre V8 in a heavy SUV drinks, and there's no dressing that up. The roughly 91-litre tank means you're not filling daily, and Dubai petrol is cheap by global standards, so the bill lands softer here than it would almost anywhere else. Even so, this is the most expensive car here to run, and if your week is short city errands you'll be burning fuel to haul an empty cabin. Salik tolls are charged to you as you pass the gantries, and any RTA fines during the rental pass to you as well, so plan your route with both in mind.

Cooling a cabin this size

A full-size, eight-seat cabin is a vast volume of air to chill, and Dubai summers sit in the mid-40s, so the AC has real work to do. The Yukon is built for it, with powerful front output and rear climate vents that push cold air all the way back to the third row, so passengers behind aren't left sweltering. Park in shade where you can, give it a few minutes with the doors shut, and even a cabin this large settles to comfortable. For a full load of passengers in summer, that rear reach is the feature that actually matters.

Parking and living with the size

The honest catch is the footprint. At 5334 mm long and over two metres wide, the Yukon is a lot of vehicle for Dubai's tighter spaces. Multi-storey bays, the steep Marina ramps, and U-turns all need planning, and some older car parks will be a genuine squeeze. The high seating and good visibility help, and parking aids take the edge off, but you'll always be aware of the length. The roughly 203 mm of clearance handles speed bumps and mall ramps comfortably and gives it the stance for light off-tarmac use. If your week is all underground city parking, this is more car than the job needs.

Who should rent it, and who shouldn't

Rent the GMC Yukon 2024 if you're moving a large group with full luggage, you need towing or rougher-track capability, or you simply want a commanding full-size SUV for highway and airport runs. For that job the V8 power and genuine eight-seat space are exactly right, and doorstep delivery makes the size easy to take on. If you mostly drive around the city with a few passengers, this is too much car, and a Captiva or a mid-size SUV will save you a fortune in fuel for space you'll rarely fill. And if you want seven seats without the bulk, a road-focused crossover parks far easier. The Yukon is for when you genuinely need the size. Match it to that and nothing else does the job as comfortably.
