A turbocharged Sonata or K5 will still beat it off a green light. Boot space and rear-seat room

The 524-litre boot swallows two full-size suitcases and a couple of soft bags without folding the rear seat down, which makes a DXB or DWC pickup with a family's luggage straightforward rather than a puzzle. This is a front-wheel-drive car with 145 mm of clearance, not built for sand or a rutted track, so a proper 4x4 is the right call there.
