A Nissan Sunny 2024 comes with unlimited mileage on this booking, which changes what the car is actually good for. Rent it in Dubai for a week and there is no daily cap ticking over in the background and no per-kilometre charge waiting at drop-off, so a run to Abu Dhabi, a loop out toward Hatta's foot, or three straight days on Sheikh Zayed Road all cost the same as leaving it parked outside your building. We can have the Sunny at your door within one to two hours, debit card or cash on delivery, minimum age 25. The real question this page settles is how much car that unlimited mileage actually buys.
The Sunny runs a 1.6-litre four, the HR16DE, making 118 hp and 149 Nm through an Xtronic CVT, sending power to the front wheels only. That spec sheet doesn't suggest urgency, and the car doesn't pretend otherwise. It settles into a highway cruise around 120 km/h without strain, the CVT keeping revs low and the cabin quiet, which matters more than horsepower on a week where unlimited mileage means you're actually covering ground. Ask it for a quick overtake with a full car and the AC working hard, and the revs climb before the speed catches up. Treat it as a relaxed cruiser built for distance rather than a car you drive hard, and the CVT stops being a compromise and starts being the point.
At 490 litres the boot is large for an economy sedan, big enough for two full-size suitcases and a soft bag with room left for a cooler box or a folded stroller, which is the kind of load a multi-day trip actually generates. The back seat holds up its end too: real legroom for two adults across a long drive, and three across for a shorter hop between stops. A couple with two kids and a car packed for a few nights away has space to spare. Push it to four adults with a full week of bags and the cabin still carries them, but it stops feeling roomy once everyone's luggage joins the group.

At under 1.75 metres wide, it still slots into a tight multi-storey bay or a hotel valet ramp without the mirror-folding routine wider sedans need. It sits low, so a steep basement ramp or a sharp speed bump wants a gentle approach. This is a front-wheel-drive sedan, not a crossover, so keep the unlimited mileage to tarmac. It'll rack up kilometres happily between here and Abu Dhabi or Al Ain, but a Hatta track is the wrong use for it.
This is the part that actually makes a road-trip week work. Most economy sedans in this class cap you at 250 km a day and charge for every kilometre past that, so a genuinely long week, several day trips plus the daily errands, quietly adds up. This booking removes that math. There's no per-kilometre overage rate to track, so however far the week takes you, the number on the invoice doesn't move.
What you'll pay for instead is fuel, and the Sunny keeps that cheap too. Nissan's combined figure sits around 18 km per litre, though Dubai reality, with the AC running through the afternoon and traffic doing its usual stop-start, lands closer to 13 or 14 in the city. The 41-litre tank still stretches past 500 km on a highway day, so a long run to Abu Dhabi and back needs one stop, maybe none. Salik charges at every toll gate regardless of distance, and any RTA fine during the rental is yours, so budget for both even though the mileage itself is free.
Heat is the other cost of a long day in the car. Leave the Sunny parked through a Dubai afternoon and the cabin turns brutal by the time you climb back in, but its small interior works in your favour, since there's less air for the blower to pull down. Point the front vents at yourself, give it three or four minutes, and it drops from unbearable to comfortable. There are no rear vents, so anyone in the back seat waits a little longer on the worst days, worth knowing if your road trip has kids strapped in behind you.
Rent it if your week is built around covering distance without watching a mileage counter: repeated runs between emirates, visiting family across the country, or simply not wanting to think about kilometres before you book. Set against a Yaris sedan, an MG5 or a Corolla renting with a capped allowance, the Sunny's real advantage this time isn't the price, it's not having to plan the week around a number.
Two groups should look elsewhere. Carry four adults with a full week of luggage on a long drive and the Sunny copes, but comfort thins out fast, so a mid-size sedan is worth the extra cost. And if the appeal of unlimited mileage is really about wanting to drive fast and often, the modest power will test your patience on the overtake more than it rewards a heavy right foot. For steady, high-mileage weeks without a rival number on your mind, this is the car built for exactly that.
