The Nissan Patrol 2025 rental in Dubai is the redesigned, seventh-generation car, and the headline change is under the bonnet: the old V8 is gone, replaced by a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 that actually makes more power. We deliver it to your door in Dubai within 1 to 2 hours, and you can settle by card, cash, or Apple Pay on the day. If you've driven a Patrol before, this one is worth a fresh look, because the powertrain, the cabin, and the size have all moved on. Our take: this is the Patrol to rent if you want the latest version and the extra punch, and you're happy that it's a bigger, more premium car than the one it replaces.
The 2025 Patrol drops the 5.6 V8 for a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 making 425 hp through a new nine-speed automatic. On paper that's more power than the old V8 and the response is sharper, with the turbos filling in low down so the car feels eager rather than lazy off the line. It still drives all four wheels, so the four-wheel-drive ability that defines a Patrol is intact.
What that means for your week here is a car that overtakes on Sheikh Zayed Road with more urgency than before and cruises the E11 dead quiet at speed. The nine-speed keeps the engine relaxed at a steady 120, and there's no sense that swapping cylinders for turbos cost it anything in real-world muscle.

Inside is where this generation feels most like a step up. It's a three-row, up-to-eight-seat SUV, and the materials and screens are a clear notch above the outgoing car, closer to a luxury product than a workhorse. Six adults are comfortable across the first two rows, with two more for the third on shorter trips.
The trade-off is luggage versus people, same as any full-size SUV. With all three rows up, the space behind the back seats handles soft bags and a grocery run rather than a stack of full-size suitcases. Fold the third row and the load bay opens right up for a group's holiday luggage. Collecting a big party from DXB or DWC, the sensible split is people in the seats you need and cases in the folded section, not eight passengers and eight suitcases at once.
This generation grew. At 5.35 metres long and just over 2 metres wide, the 2025 Patrol is longer than the car it replaces, and Dubai's tighter spots make you aware of it. Marina bays, older multi-storey car parks, and narrow ramps all want a careful line and the parking cameras. Ground clearance is a generous 244 mm, so speed bumps and steep mall entrances are no concern, but threading the length through a packed car park takes patience. If your week is mostly downtown errands, this is a lot of vehicle for the job.
On the highway and the airport run, the length stops being a problem and becomes stability. The car sits planted and calm at speed, which is exactly where a full-size SUV should shine.
The move to a turbo V6 helps at the pump. Expect somewhere around 12 to 14 litres per 100 km in mixed use, a touch lighter than the old V8 though still firmly in big-SUV territory, and heavier if you sit in summer traffic with the AC maxed. The tank is 97 litres, smaller than the previous car's, so plan to fill a little more often on a long week, though it still covers several days of normal driving.
Dubai summers run into the mid-40s, and the AC has a large premium cabin to cool after it's baked in the sun. The system is strong and feeds all three rows, so nobody in the back roasts, but give it a minute with the doors shut before everyone climbs in. Salik tolls and any RTA fines during the rental fall to you, and a child seat is required for under-fours, which we can fit on request.
Rent this one if you want the newest Patrol, the sharper twin-turbo engine, and the more premium cabin, and you've got the group or the luggage to justify a full-size three-row SUV. For a big family week with a desert day mixed in, it does everything the badge promises with extra polish over the older cars.
If you don't need eight seats or the off-road ability, the size and running cost are hard to justify, and a mid-size SUV will be easier to park and cheaper to feed. And if you simply want a Patrol for less, the previous-generation 2021 or 2022 cars give you the same core experience with the proven V8 at a lower rate. This 2025 is the pick when the latest version and the newer engine are the point.
