Pay on delivery in cash, by card or through Apple Pay and Google Pay, and we'll hand over the Mitsubishi Attrage 2025 at your door in Dubai inside one to two hours. This is the small sedan to rent when the fuel bill matters more than anything on the spec sheet. The latest Attrage is one of the cheapest cars to run in the city, a frugal four-door with a boot that shames most of its rivals, and it makes a genuinely smart commuter or airport pick. What it asks in return is honesty about what it is, so let's get into where it earns its keep and where it doesn't.
A 42-litre tank and real-world economy in the high teens to low twenties of kilometres per litre means a week of normal Dubai driving rarely needs more than one fill. Commute from Jumeirah Village Circle to Business Bay, do the school run, hit the mall, and you'll watch the needle barely move. On a careful highway week you can stretch a single tank close to 700 km, though city heat and the AC running flat out will pull that down. Either way, this is the kind of car where you forget which petrol station you last used.
The 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine sips fuel because it's small and unstressed, not because of any clever trickery. That's the trade. You get low running costs and a low rental, and you accept an engine that's adequate rather than eager.
Here's where the Attrage quietly beats cars a class above it. The boot holds 450 litres, which is large for a small sedan and the main reason I push this car for DXB and DWC runs. Two large hard cases and a couple of cabin bags go in without a fight, and you can still see out the back. A family of four heading home with a week of shopping and luggage will find it copes where a hatchback of the same footprint would force a rear seat down.
For a couple doing an airport pickup with two big suitcases, this is one of the easiest cars on our fleet to load. The opening is wide and the floor is flat.

The cabin is small, and that works in your favour in July. A compact volume cools faster than a big SUV, so once the front vents get going you're comfortable within a few minutes of pulling out of a baking car park. The vents up front are strong enough for the job. There are no rear vents, which is worth knowing if you regularly carry passengers in the back on the worst summer afternoons, though the cabin is short enough that cold air reaches them soon anyway.
Park in shade where you can. Like any car with a modest engine and a small cabin, the Attrage recovers from heat quickly but doesn't have the brute cooling power of a larger car with a bigger compressor.
Around town the Attrage is at its best. It's narrow, the steering is light, and it slots into tight multi-storey bays and Marina ramps without drama. The 170 mm clearance clears speed bumps and mall ramps without scraping. U-turns are easy. Parking is a non-event.
On the E11 it's honest rather than quick. It cruises at 120 calmly enough, but the small engine means overtaking at highway speed needs planning and a bit of patience. Push past 120 to 130 and you feel it working. For a daily commute and the odd run to Abu Dhabi it's fine. If your week is mostly fast highway miles with a full car, you'll want more under the bonnet.
A few standing rules apply whatever you rent. Salik tolls and any RTA fines run through to you, and seat belts are required in every seat.
Rent the Attrage 2025 if you're one or two people who want the lowest possible fuel and rental bill for city commuting, errands and airport runs, and you value that big boot. For a single driver or a couple it's close to the smartest-value car we hand out.
Step up to a Honda City if you regularly carry four adults at highway speed, want a quieter, more refined cabin, or care about how the car feels rather than only what it costs. The Attrage is value, not polish. The plastics are plain, the engine is modest, and nobody will call the drive exciting. But if your priority is spending as little as possible while still getting a proper sedan and a boot that swallows your luggage, this is one of the best calls in Dubai right now.
