Mercedes V Class 2025 - start from 1,319 AED / day

If you need to move seven people in Mercedes comfort, the V-Class 2025 is the van to rent in Dubai, and we deliver it to your door in 1 to 2 hours so you're not stuck collecting it from a lot. We rent it from age 18, which most of the market won't do, and the 250 km a day included covers airport runs and city hopping without you watching the odometer. The decision this page helps you make is simple: whether a full-size luxury van is the right call for your group, or whether you're paying for space you won't use.

Where this car earns its keep is the long, quiet, leather-lined cabin. It's built to carry a group in the kind of comfort a regular seven-seater can't match, which is why it's the default for VIP airport transfers and corporate guests around the city.

The airport run it was made for

A run to DXB or DWC with luggage for seven is exactly what this van handles best. The sliding doors open wide on both sides, so loading people and cases in a tight drop-off lane is easy, and nobody's clambering over a folded seat to reach the back row. The high roof means even tall passengers sit upright without ducking.

With all seven seats in use you still get 1030 litres behind the third row, which swallows a stack of full-size suitcases. Pull or fold the rear seats and the space opens up dramatically, well beyond what any SUV offers. For a family arriving for a long stay, or a group with golf bags and a week of cases, this is the one van where luggage genuinely isn't a worry.

How it drives and how often you'll fuel up

The 2.0-litre turbo diesel makes 211 hp, paired with a smooth automatic and all-wheel drive. It's not quick off the line by sports-car standards, but it pulls a full cabin up to highway speed without strain and cruises the E11 quietly at 120. The diesel is the reason a week of this doesn't punish your fuel budget. Expect roughly 7 to 9 litres per 100 km depending on how much city crawling you do, and with the 70-litre tank that's several days of mixed driving between fills. For a vehicle this size carrying this many people, that's genuinely economical.

Living with five metres of van in the city

This is a 5.1-metre vehicle, and you'll feel it in two places: tight multi-storey bays and U-turns. Marina and older mall car parks have bays sized for sedans, so you'll want to pick end spots and use the parking sensors and camera the V-Class comes with. The all-wheel drive helps it feel planted rather than tippy when you're manoeuvring loaded. Speed bumps and mall ramps are no drama at this height, but the length means you plan your turns rather than swing them. If your week is all narrow underground parking and no passengers, this is the wrong tool. If you're moving a group, the size is the point.

Keeping seven people cool

Cabin cooling matters more here than in any small car, because there's a lot of air to chill and bodies in three rows. The V-Class has a strong front system plus rear climate vents that reach the second and third rows, so back-seat passengers aren't left baking after the van's been parked in 45-degree sun. Give it a couple of minutes with the doors shut and the whole cabin comes down evenly, not just the front. For families with kids in the back, those rear outlets are the difference between a calm drive and a miserable one.

The charges that fall to you

Salik tolls are billed to the renter as you pass the gantries, and any RTA fines during the rental period are passed on to you. Seat belts are required in every seat, which is easy to forget with a full van, and a child seat is mandatory for under-fours. We can fit one on request. None of this is unusual for Dubai, but with seven seats in play it's worth a reminder before you set off.

Who should rent it, and who shouldn't

Rent the V-Class 2025 if you're moving a real group in comfort: a family of seven, a corporate party, wedding guests, or VIPs you're collecting from the airport. Nothing else at this price gives you Mercedes cabin quality, three usable rows, and luggage space all at once. The diesel keeps the running cost sensible for the size.

Skip it if you're two or three people doing city errands. You'd be parking and fuelling a van for space you'll never use, and a midsize SUV would be cheaper and far easier in tight bays. And if your trip leans heavily on cramped underground parking with no passengers to justify it, size down. The V-Class rewards a full cabin, not an empty one.
