Get back in after a few hours outside and the first breath is genuinely hot, hotter than the same wait would feel in a lighter car parked in the next row. Recovery is fast once you're moving, though. The climate system is strong front and rear, with real vents feeding the second row rather than a faint draught off the dash, so the cabin drops to comfortable within a couple of minutes.

Running the V8 costs what a two-and-a-half-tonne performance SUV always costs. The 100-litre tank takes premium only, and while the official combined figure sits near 14.7 litres per 100 km, real Dubai city driving with the AC working against that black cabin pushes consumption into the high teens. Budget for regular stops rather than treating it like a family sedan. The rate includes 250 kilometres a day, and every kilometre past that is billed at AED 0.5, which covers a normal city week but adds up on a Hatta day trip.
