We bring the Mazda 6 2025 to your door in Dubai, usually within one to two hours of booking, so the sedan turns up where you are rather than you queuing at a counter. It's one of the better-looking four-doors you can rent in the mainstream midsize class, and it backs the looks up with a cabin and a driving feel that sit a clear notch above the rate. If you want a comfortable highway cruiser with a proper boot for airport runs, and you care how a car looks and steers, this is the one to argue for. The trade-off is space: the 6 leads on style and handling, not on outright rear room.
Most midsize rentals in this bracket give you four doors, an automatic and a big boot, and then stop being interesting. The Mazda 6 is the one you notice. The cabin materials feel richer than the price suggests, the dashboard is laid out for a driver rather than a spec sheet, and on Sheikh Zayed Road it tracks straight and quiet at a cruise. Push it through a Marina interchange and it stays composed where softer sedans wallow. The 2.5-litre four makes 194 horsepower through a smooth automatic, so an overtake on the E11 happens without drama and without you flooring it.
What you give up is the very last word in rear legroom and boot volume. If three adults sitting across the back for an hour is your weekly reality, size up. For most renters, two in the back and a loaded boot, the 6 is the nicer car to spend the week in.

The table is the reference. What matters is how those numbers play out over a week here.
The boot is one of the 6's real strengths. It comfortably takes two large suitcases plus a couple of soft bags, which covers a DXB or DWC airport run for a couple or a small family without anyone holding a case on their lap. Fold the rear seats and you can manage longer loads, though for three big hard cases standing upright you're closer to the limit than a full-size sedan would be.
Up front there's no complaint. The driving position is low and supportive, the boot lip is sensible, and at 4865 mm long the car still slots into a standard mall bay and multi-storey space without the nose hanging out. The 150 mm of clearance is normal sedan territory, so you'll slow right down for the sharper Marina ramps and a few aggressive speed bumps, but day to day it never grounds out.
A black sedan parked in July is brutal until the air conditioning catches up, and the 6 handles it better than most cars in this class. The front vents push hard and the cabin pulls down from oven-hot to comfortable inside a few minutes of normal driving. Rear passengers get their own vents, which matters if you're carrying kids on the school run or in the back for an airport transfer. Park in shade when you can and start the AC before you load up, and the cabin stays civil even at 45 degrees.
On fuel, the 6 is honest rather than miserly. Expect around 8 litres per 100 km in mixed Dubai driving, more in heavy stop-and-go, a little less on a steady highway run. With a 62-litre tank that's roughly 750 km between fills, so a normal week of commuting, errands and the odd airport trip means filling up once, maybe twice if you're covering a lot of motorway. Petrol is cheap here, and this isn't a thirsty car for its size and pace.
A few Dubai practicalities apply to any rental. Salik tolls are charged to the renter, and any RTA fines during your hire pass to you, so keep to the limits on the E11 where the cameras are quick. Child seats are required for the youngest passengers, and the 6's wide rear bench and proper anchor points make fitting one straightforward.
Rent the Mazda 6 if you want the best-driving, best-looking sedan in the mainstream midsize bracket and you value a quiet, comfortable highway cruiser with a boot big enough for real luggage. It suits couples, small families and anyone doing regular airport runs or motorway miles who wants the car to feel a step above what they're paying.
Look elsewhere in two cases. If your priority is maximum rear legroom and the biggest possible boot for four adults and a wall of cases, a larger sedan gives you more room. And if you want a higher seating position or any soft-roading toward Hatta, an SUV is the better call. For everyone else who wants a sedan that's genuinely nice to drive every day, the 6 is an easy recommendation.
