Mazda 6 2024 - start from 127 AED / day

Pay how you like on the doorstep, by card, cash, or a tap of Apple Pay or Google Pay, and we'll bring the Mazda 6 2024 to you anywhere in Dubai. What you get for the rate is a saloon that looks and feels a class above its booking: a quiet, well-finished cabin, clean grown-up lines, and a 2.5-litre that stays light on fuel. This page is about that gap between how the Mazda 6 presents itself and what it costs to rent, so you can decide if a classy, frugal family-and-airport sedan suits your week, or if you'd be better served by something roomier in the back.

A sedan that reads more expensive than it rents

Plenty of midsize rentals feel like appliances. The Mazda 6 doesn't. Slide in and the dashboard is laid out with restraint, the materials feel considered, and there's a calm to the cabin that you usually pay more to get. The styling carries the same idea: long bonnet, tidy proportions, and a profile that still looks current parked outside a hotel or office tower. If part of what you want from a rental is to not look like you rented, this one earns its keep on looks alone.

The 2.5-litre is smooth, not a hot rod

Under the bonnet sits a 2.5-litre four making 194 hp, paired to a six-speed automatic driving the front wheels. It'll reach 100 km/h in about 8.2 seconds, which is plenty for real roads. The character is relaxed rather than urgent: power comes in smoothly, the gearbox shifts without drama, and the car settles into a quiet cruise quickly.

That suits the way most people drive here. On Sheikh Zayed Road the Mazda 6 is at its best, holding 120 with the engine barely working and road noise kept down. Overtaking takes a moment of thought rather than a stab of the throttle, but it's never short of pace for the limits you'll actually drive. If you want a sedan that feels sharp and eager to be pushed, this isn't that car. It's tuned for comfort and quiet, and it's good at both.

How often you'll stop to refuel

This is where the value really shows. A 2.5-litre sedan that returns around 7.6 litres per 100 km in mixed driving is doing well, and the 62-litre tank backs it up. Real Dubai driving is rarely that clean, so plan on a bit thirstier in summer when the AC runs hard and you're crawling through traffic. Even then, a full tank comfortably covers a normal week of commuting, mall runs, and a couple of airport trips before you think about a station. On a longer cruise the figure drops, so a run to Abu Dhabi and back won't have you hunting for fuel.

Will my airport cases fit

The boot is around 480 litres with a wide, square opening. Two large hard cases and a couple of soft bags go in without a fight, so a family of four heading to DXB or DWC is covered. Push to three big cases plus carry-ons for four adults and you're stacking the back seat, the usual story for a saloon this size.

On rear space, be honest with yourself before you book. Two adults sit comfortably behind two adults, and kids have room to spare. It's the third adult across the middle, or tall passengers on a long trip, where the Mazda 6 trails the very roomiest rivals. For most family and airport use it's fine.

Living with it in Dubai

In the heat, the cabin is sealed and quiet, and the AC pulls a baking interior down to comfortable within a few minutes from the front vents. There are rear vents too, so passengers in the back aren't left waiting on a 45-degree afternoon with the car parked in the open.

It's a long-ish sedan, so the tighter multi-storey bays and a few Marina ramps ask for care, but parking sensors and a reversing camera take the guesswork out of it. Speed bumps and mall ramps are no issue at 165 mm of clearance.

Two operational notes worth saying once. Salik tolls run on the renter's account, and any RTA fines during the rental pass to you, so keep to the limits and the lanes. Seat belts are required in every seat.

Who should rent it, and who shouldn't

Rent the Mazda 6 2024 if you want a midsize sedan that feels upmarket for the money, sips fuel, and stays quiet and composed across a week of commuting and airport runs in Dubai. As a value pick that looks a cut above the usual rental fare, it's hard to argue with.

Look elsewhere in two cases. If you regularly carry four full-size adults or need the most rear legroom and boot you can get, a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord gives you more room for the same kind of trip. And if your week involves rougher roads, more luggage, or you prefer sitting higher, a midsize SUV is the smarter book. For everyone else who wants style and refinement without paying for a badge, this is a quietly excellent choice.
