The Range Rover Vogue 2024 in our fleet is a different car from the Vogue we still rent in its older shape. Land Rover replaced the rounded, decade-old L405 body with the L460 generation in 2022, and the change runs deeper than styling: a new mild-hybrid inline-six under the bonnet, a reworked air suspension, and rear-wheel steering that makes a five-metre SUV easier to place. We hand this one over at your door in black, usually within one to two hours of booking. If you're weighing the new shape against the older Vogue also on this site, or just want to know what the redesign actually changed, that's what this page settles.
The outgoing L405 Vogue still on this site runs a supercharged 3.0-litre V6, 335 hp, and needs about 7.4 seconds to reach 100 km/h. This 2024 car's engine isn't a tune of that motor, it's different hardware: a 3.0-litre inline-six with a mild-hybrid system, 400 hp and 550 Nm, paired with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that adds rear-wheel steering. It reaches 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds and goes on to 242 km/h, figures the old supercharged engine never got near.
On Sheikh Zayed Road the difference shows up more in manner than in numbers. The hybrid assist fills in low down where a turbo would hesitate, so an overtake happens in one smooth push instead of a gathered run-up, and the car settles into a 120 km/h cruise without any sense of working. There's real reserve left for a fast merge onto E11 traffic. The rear-wheel steering doesn't announce itself in a straight line, but it tightens the turning circle enough that a U-turn on a narrow service road feels like driving something noticeably smaller than it is.
Five seats, standard wheelbase, no third row on this car. Land Rover only fits seven into the long-wheelbase version, and that isn't what you're renting here. Rear legroom is generous enough that two adults stretch out fully on a Hatta day trip or a long DXB transfer, and the cabin stays composed and quiet at speed rather than getting loud once you're past 120.
The boot holds 818 litres behind the rear seats and opens to 1,841 with them folded, enough for three or four large cases loaded flat plus soft bags, so a full airport pickup doesn't turn into a repacking job in the car park.

| Power | 400 hp |
| Torque | 550 Nm |
| 0-100 km/h | 5.8 seconds |

| Fuel tank | 90 litres |

| Colour | Black |
Ground clearance sits around 219 mm in standard mode and lifts to close to 295 mm on the air suspension, so a steep mall ramp or a tall speed bump in a Marina car park is a non-event rather than something to creep over. That height, and a wading depth of 900 mm, is genuine off-road capability, not a marketing number, though nobody should take a rented Range Rover dune driving, and you shouldn't either. Size is the trade-off: this is over five metres long and a touch over two metres wide across the body, so a cramped multi-storey bay still wants care, even with the tighter turning circle helping out.
Black exterior over a black cabin is the combination that heats up fastest under a Dubai sun, and it's worth saying plainly rather than glossing over it. Leave this one in an open car park through an August afternoon and the seats and dash will be properly hot before you climb back in. The climate system pulls a cabin this size down quickly once you're moving, with strong vents front and rear, so passengers in the back aren't waiting on the front seats to cool first. Cooled front seats take the edge off the worst of it. Shade or a covered bay, where you can find one, makes the first few minutes far more bearable.
On fuel, the 90-litre tank and the combined WLTP figure of 9.7 L/100km suggest a range close to 900 km, but that's a best-case number reached on a steady highway run. Stop-and-go city driving with the air conditioning working hard pushes real consumption well above it, and this engine wants premium fuel, so plan around that rather than the combined figure alone. Salik tolls during your rental are yours to cover, and any RTA fine issued while you have the keys passes through to you as well.
Rent this Range Rover Vogue 2024 if the redesign is the point for you: the quieter inline-six, the smoother ride and the extra pace over the old car are worth booking the newer generation for. It also earns its place on long highway stretches with people and luggage aboard, or any trip where arriving well matters as much as the drive itself.
If the saving matters more than having the newest shape, the L405 Vogue still on this site covers most of the same ground, the ride height, the presence, the rear-seat room, for less. If most of your week is spent threading tight car parks and short hops rather than covering distance, a Range Rover Sport does the same job in an easier footprint. And if the back seat is the entire reason for the booking, a Rolls-Royce Cullinan is the one to look at instead. Go in with the policy clear: 250 km a day is included, extra kilometres run AED 0.5 each, and you need to be 25 to take the keys. As a luxury SUV this one takes a deposit, so don't expect a no-deposit option here.
