Fuel, running cost and cooling the cabin

Stop-and-go traffic with the AC working hard pushes real consumption noticeably above that number, and this V6 wants premium petrol, so plan fuel stops around the city figure rather than the combined one.

Leave it in direct sun for a couple of hours in August and the seats and dash will be genuinely hot before you climb back in. The climate system pulls it down well once you're moving, with strong front vents and its own vents for the rear seats, so the cabin reaches comfortable within a few minutes on the road. Shade or a covered bay, where you can find one, makes that first stretch noticeably easier. Who this Range Rover suits, and who should look elsewhere

Rent this one if you want the full-size Range Rover experience, the ride height, the presence, the rear-seat room, at a noticeably lower weekly rate than the redesigned car commands, and if the lower age floor matters to you. At 21, this is one of the few full-size Range Rovers in Dubai you can actually book without a co-signer or a 25th birthday behind you, and for most weeks of city driving, airport runs and highway cruising it does the job just as well as the newer shape does.

Size up to the current-generation Range Rover if the newest cabin technology, the quieter six-cylinder engine and the last word in refinement matter more than the saving, especially if you're collecting guests or clients who'd notice the difference. If most of your week is tight car parks and short hops rather than long, comfortable runs, a Range Rover Sport covers similar ground in a smaller, easier footprint.
