Land Rover Range Rover Sport 2025 - start from 914 AED / day

We deliver the Range Rover Sport 2025 to your door in Dubai within one to two hours, fuelled and ready, so a car in this class turns up without a rental-desk queue eating your morning. This is the latest Sport: the sharper, lower-riding member of the Range Rover family, built on a 3.0-litre six with 340 horsepower and full four-wheel drive. It keeps the plush cabin and the air suspension, and it'll still climb a dune if you point it at one. The question this page answers is who actually needs the Sport over the comfort-first flagship, or over something smaller that parks itself into a Marina bay without a fight.

Highway pace and desert capability

Start with what the Sport is built to do well. On Sheikh Zayed Road it cruises flat and hushed, and with 340 hp from the 3.0-litre six, an overtake at 120 is one measured squeeze of the throttle. The quoted 0 to 100 km/h of 7.2 seconds understates how effortless it feels in the mid-range, which is the part that matters for merging and passing on the E11. It isn't chasing sports-car numbers, and it doesn't need to.

Point it at the desert and the hardware is real, not a brochure line. Four-wheel drive is permanent, the air suspension lifts ground clearance to around 281 mm at its highest, and wading depth is roughly 900 mm. Drop the tyre pressures, switch the terrain modes to sand, and Hatta tracks and firm dunes are well within it. Most renters won't push that far, but the capability is the reason to pick this over a road-only luxury SUV.

Parking a big SUV without drama

This is a wide, long car, and Dubai's older multi-storey bays weren't drawn with it in mind. In Marina towers and the tighter mall basements you'll use every centimetre of the bay and lean on the camera suite, which the 2025 car gives you in sharp resolution. The turning circle is better than the footprint suggests, so U-turns don't become three-point efforts. Speed bumps and steep mall ramps are a non-issue: raise the air suspension and it clears obstacles that scrape lower crossovers. If your week is mostly cramped city parking and short hops, a smaller crossover will save you the stress.

Luggage and people

Five seats, and a boot near 647 litres that genuinely swallows a week's bags. Two large suitcases stand upright with room for soft bags around them, which covers a family flying into DXB or DWC with full cases. Fold the rear bench and it turns cavernous, fine for a flat-pack run or bikes. What it doesn't have is a third row. If you regularly carry six or seven, this isn't your car, and a longer seven-seat SUV is the right call instead. For four adults plus airport luggage, the Sport has space to spare and the comfort to make a Hatta day trip painless.

Heat and the first ten minutes

Leave it under the July sun and the cabin will be brutal when you open the door, the same as any car here. What matters is recovery, and the Sport's climate system pulls a 45-degree cabin down to something civil within a few minutes of driving. There are rear vents, so passengers behind aren't waiting on cold air that never reaches them, and the cooled-seat function where the car has it earns its keep on the school run. Crack the windows for the first thirty seconds and you'll clear the worst of the trapped heat before the AC even catches up.

Fuel, range and the running costs on you

An 80-litre tank is large, which is just as well, because this is a heavy, powerful SUV and it drinks accordingly. In Dubai's mix of crawling traffic and highway sprints, expect low-to-mid teens in litres per 100 km, worse if you lean on the performance, nearer 10 on a calmer combined run. A full tank still gives a comfortable week of city driving plus an airport run or two before you're back at the pump. Salik tolls run on your account, and any RTA fines or charges during the rental pass to you, so watch the gantries and the limits. Belts are mandatory in every seat, and under-fours need a child seat.

Who should rent it, and who shouldn't

Rent the Range Rover Sport 2025 if you want a premium SUV that drives with intent, looks sharper than the flagship, and can handle a desert weekend without flinching. It's the right call for someone who wants to enjoy the drive, not just ride in the back. If your priority is the softest possible ride and rear-seat lounge comfort, the full-size Range Rover is the better pick. If you're mostly doing tight city parking and short errands, size down to a crossover, and if you need six or seven seats, size up to a three-row SUV. Note too that a heavily optioned example can feel like a different, pricier car, so confirm exactly what you're getting at booking. Stricter security terms may apply on a vehicle in this class, worth checking before you commit.
