Three rows, seven real seats, and a softer rate than the latest version: the Kia Telluride 2023 is the value pick when you need to move a full family around Dubai and rents with us on flexible terms, with cards, cash, bank transfer, and wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay all accepted on delivery. We bring it to your door, and you settle the way that suits you. The question this page answers is simple. If you want near-luxury space for seven without paying for the newest model, does the 2023 Telluride still hold up for a Dubai week? For most families it does, and the third row is the reason.
Plenty of seven-seaters fold a token bench into the boot and call it a day. The Telluride doesn't. Its rear is sized for adults on short and medium trips, and for kids it's genuinely roomy. Two adults up front, two or three in the middle, and two more in the back works for an airport run or a day out, not just for show.
The trade-off is the usual one. With all three rows up, boot space is tight, enough for a few soft bags and backpacks, not a stack of hard suitcases. Travelling five or six? Drop the back row and you get a deep, square load bay that swallows a week's luggage plus a stroller. So the honest split is seven people or seven peoples' bags, rarely both at full capacity. For a family of five with cases, it's close to ideal.
A cabin this size takes longer to cool than a hatchback, and that matters when you open the doors to a car parked under the July sun and the dash reads something near 45 degrees outside. The Telluride helps itself here. Vents reach all three rows, so the people in the back aren't waiting on cold air that never arrives, and the front blowers are strong enough to make the first few minutes bearable while the whole cabin catches up.
Park in shade where you can, and give it a minute with the doors open before you load kids in. Once it's running, the AC holds a full cabin comfortable even in peak heat. That's the difference between a vehicle built for a hot market and one that struggles the moment you fill every seat.

The numbers worth reading closely are the engine and the tank. That 3.8 V6 is naturally aspirated and never feels strained, which is what you want when the car is loaded with seven people and the AC is working hard. On the fuel side, a full SUV in real Dubai driving sits around 11 to 12 litres per 100km, more in stop-and-go traffic, less on an open highway run. With a 71-litre tank, that's a comfortable range for several days of normal use. Most renters fill once mid-week rather than chasing the pump every other day.
On Sheikh Zayed Road and the E11, the Telluride is in its element. The V6 has easy overtaking pull, it cruises quietly above 100, and the all-wheel drive keeps it planted. A DXB or DWC airport run with a full load and a boot of cases is exactly the job this car is built for, and it never feels out of its depth.
Parking takes a little more care. At five metres long and nearly two metres wide, it fills a standard bay and wants a deliberate line in tight Marina multi-storeys. The 203mm ground clearance clears speed bumps and mall ramps without scraping, and the raised seating gives you a good view over traffic. Reverse cameras and sensors take the stress out of the snug spots. If you're used to a sedan, give yourself an extra beat on the U-turns and you'll be fine.
A few Dubai rules to keep in mind. Salik tolls run to your account as the renter, and any RTA fines during your hire pass to you, so drive to the limits. Seat belts are required in every row, and children under four need a proper child seat, which we can fit on request.
Rent this if you're moving a real family or a group of six to seven and you'd rather put the saving over the newest model year toward a longer trip or a better hotel. The 2023 gives you the same big, comfortable seven-seat cabin and the same strong V6 at a softer rate, and for the way most families actually use a Dubai rental, the difference on the road is hard to feel.
Look elsewhere in two cases. If you only ever carry two or three people and city errands, this is more SUV than you need and a smaller crossover will park easier and drink less fuel. And if you specifically want the latest version's updates, size up to the 2024 page. For everyone hauling a full house to the airport or out for the weekend, the 2023 Telluride is the smart-money seven-seater.
