The flat floor and the sliding doors make loading kids and car seats far less of a fight than climbing into a tall SUV.

Size is the trade-off. At over five metres long and nearly two wide, the Carnival needs thought in tight multi-storey bays and on the steeper Marina ramps. The 180 mm of clearance clears speed bumps and mall lips without scraping, but U-turns and narrow bays take more room than you're used to.
