The ride is the real payoff of this layout. A low floor and a long, 3,090 mm wheelbase settle the Carnival over speed bumps and road joints in a way a tall SUV cannot match, and it stays composed with a full load. What it will not do is leave the tarmac. Front-wheel drive and around 170 mm of clearance mean Hatta tracks and soft sand are off the table, however big the cabin looks.

Seats, boot and the daily use

Who should rent it, and who should look elsewhere
