The turbo's 210 Nm arrives early enough that merging onto Sheikh Zayed Road with a full car doesn't feel like work, even though outright pace was never the point of this car.

Size up, or across to an Elantra, Sunny or K5, if you'd rather drive a name you already know, or if the plan includes anything off the paved road. At 120 mm of clearance, Hatta's rougher tracks are out even though the town itself is well within reach. A solo driver doing short city errands won't use the extra length or the boot either, and a smaller car parks more easily in a tight bay. For everyone else weighing a weekend away against a fixed mileage budget, the J7 2024 is one of the more generous bookings in its class, and 21 is a low enough age bar that it's worth checking before you assume you don't qualify.
