Want a premium badge and genuine pace without paying German-sedan money? We rent the Infiniti Q50 2025 across Dubai with 250 km a day included, so an airport run plus a few days of city driving rarely tips you into extra-kilometre charges. This is the 2.0-litre turbo, rear-wheel-drive version: 211 hp, a smooth seven-speed automatic, and a quiet, comfortable cabin. The argument here is simple. The Q50 gives you sport-luxury feel and a strong turbo punch for less than the obvious executive sedans, and the trade-off is older cabin tech and a slightly firm ride. If those don't bother you, it's good value.
The Q50 sits in the business class as a five-seat saloon, not a crossover or an SUV. The 2.0t turbo four makes 211 hp and 350 Nm, sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed auto. It reaches 100 km/h in about 7.3 seconds and tops out at 245 km/h, which is more than you'll ever use here legally.
What you feel from the driver's seat is effortless mid-range pull. The torque arrives low, so slipping onto Sheikh Zayed Road or clearing a slow lorry on the E11 takes one easy press. It cruises hushed at 120, and the rear-drive layout gives it a planted, grown-up feel that front-drive rivals miss.

| Fuel economy (combined) | about 6.4 L/100 km official |
| Fuel tank | 80 litres |
| Boot | about 380 litres |
| Dimensions (L x W x H) | 4810 x 1820 x 1445 mm |
The boot holds around 380 litres, which is a useful saloon shape rather than a deep cube. For a DXB or DWC pickup that means two large cases plus a couple of soft bags go in without a fight, and a third case usually fits if it's a medium one. Four adults travelling with full luggage for a week is where it gets tight, and the boot opening is a saloon aperture, not a hatch, so awkward shapes need planning.
Inside, the front seats are wide and supportive, fine for tall drivers on a long Hatta day. The back seats are comfortable for two adults; three across is short-trip territory. If you're regularly carrying four or five people with bags, a larger sedan or a midsize SUV will serve you better.
Infiniti quotes roughly 6.4 L/100 km combined, but treat that as a lab number. In real Dubai use, with the AC fighting the heat and stop-start traffic through Downtown and the Marina, expect closer to 9 to 11 L/100 km. The turbo also rewards a heavy foot, so the more you enjoy it, the more you'll burn.
The 80-litre tank is the saving grace. Even at real-world consumption you're looking at well over 600 km between fills, so a week of mixed city and highway driving usually means one or two visits to the pump, no more. Petrol is cheap here, so the running cost stays reasonable for a car this quick.
Dubai summers push past 45 degrees, and a dark cabin left in the sun gets brutal. The Q50's climate system is strong and pulls a baked interior down quickly once you're moving, with proper front-vent output. There are rear vents too, so back-seat passengers aren't left to suffer on an airport run with the family. Park in shade where you can and give it a minute before you expect cold air; that's true of any car here, not a Q50 flaw.
On the road, the ride is on the firm side of comfortable. It soaks up Sheikh Zayed Road expansion joints fine, but sharp speed bumps in residential areas and tight community roads come through more than they would in a softer luxury car. Ground clearance is modest, typical of a sport saloon, so take mall ramps and aggressive bumps at a sensible angle. Parking is easy enough: at 4.8 metres it's a normal midsize sedan, the rear camera helps in multi-storey bays, and U-turns are no drama.
A few rules come with any rental here. You pay the Salik tolls as you pass through the gates, and any RTA fines or speed-camera penalties during your rental are yours, so watch the limits, especially on the open E11 where enforcement is constant. Seat belts are required for everyone in the car.
Rent it if you want real pace and a premium feel for the money, and the older infotainment and the slightly firm ride don't put you off. It's a strong pick for a couple or a small family who'll spend time on the highway, enjoy the drive, and value the turbo muscle over the latest screens. As a comfortable, fast, good-value way to cover Dubai's distances, it earns its place.
Look elsewhere if your priority is the newest cabin tech and a plush, soft ride, in which case a current-generation executive sedan feels fresher inside. And if you're regularly carrying four or five people with full luggage, or you want higher seating and more boot space, size up to a luxury SUV. For the driver who wants muscle and a badge without the German price, though, the Q50 is hard to argue with.
