The bed, and whether your gear fits

The open bed is the whole point, so be realistic about it. At roughly 1.2 metres long it's short by pickup standards. Two mountain bikes with front wheels off, a pair of paddleboards, camping kit and a cooler, or a week's worth of sandy desert gear all fit fine. A full sheet of plywood or long building materials don't. The win is that you can hose it out and never worry about wet, dusty kit ending up in the cabin.
