It's a road car, not a dune machine. The all-wheel drive helps with grip and stability rather than serious off-roading, so think wet underpasses and loose road edges, not Hatta rock trails. For light graded tracks and beach-access roads it's fine. For real desert, it isn't the tool.

Heat and the AC

The cabin is on the smaller side, which works in your favour when the car's been baking in a 45-degree car park. Less air to cool means the AC pulls the temperature down faster than in a big SUV, and the front vents are strong. Rear passengers get airflow from the front, fine for two kids on a short hop, though a child in the back will feel it warmer than someone up front on a long afternoon run.
