Renting a Honda Accord 2023 in Dubai gets you a big, comfortable sedan at a rate that reads more like a small car, and we'll take payment however suits you when the car arrives, card, cash, bank transfer, a wallet, even crypto. That value is the heart of this page. The Accord is a roomy five-seat sedan with a 1.5 turbo and a quiet, well-finished cabin, and the question we're answering is whether a sedan this size makes sense for your week, or whether you'd be happier higher up in an SUV. For a couple or a family who spend real time on the road, it's an easy yes. For tight city-only weeks, we'll point you elsewhere.
Most people are surprised this much car costs what it does. You're getting a near-five-metre sedan with a turbo petrol engine, a genuinely quiet highway ride and a back seat two adults can stretch out in, for a daily rate that undercuts plenty of smaller crossovers. We also rent it from age 18, where a lot of desks won't hand over a car this size before 21, and that opens it to younger drivers who'd otherwise be stuck in a hatchback. If the budget is the deciding factor and you still want space and a calm drive, the Accord punches well above its price.

The 1.5 turbo makes 192 hp, and the number undersells how the car feels in normal use. There's real pull in the mid-range, so a slow lorry on the E11 needs one confident press to clear, not a run-up, and a full load of four adults and luggage doesn't blunt it. At 120 the cabin stays quiet and the body sits flat, which is exactly what you want on a long Sheikh Zayed Road haul or a relaxed run out to the east coast.
The trade is the footprint. At nearly five metres long and low to the ground, the Accord rewards open roads and punishes cramped basements. Tucking it into a short Marina bay takes a beat longer than a hatch would, and at 135 mm the clearance is sedan-low, so you'll slow right down for the steeper mall ramps and take speed bumps gently. None of that bites if your week is mostly highway and airport. If it's all narrow side streets, it will.
Honda quotes strong city economy, and in real Dubai driving with the AC working and a fair share of stop-start, plan for somewhere around 8 to 9 litres per 100km on a mixed week. On the 56-litre tank that's a comfortable touring range, with the maker citing close to 880 km on a steady highway run. A normal week of city errands plus a couple of longer trips means one refuel, maybe two if you commute far. It drinks regular petrol, which keeps the running cost sensible for a car this size. Salik tolls are billed to you as the renter, and so is any RTA fine, so the gantries add up quietly over seven days.
This is where the sedan shape earns trust. The boot takes two to three large hard cases laid flat with room for cabin bags beside them, enough for a family flying in for a week, and the wide opening and low lip make loading easier than the same volume in a hatch with a high sill. Push to three big cases plus a buggy and you're stacking, but the flat floor handles it better than the brochure suggests. The rear seats fold for the odd long item, though on a sedan that's a now-and-then trick rather than the daily mode. For most couples and small families landing at DXB or DWC, luggage simply isn't a worry here.
A dark sedan baking in a July car park gets brutally hot, and no car beats physics on the first minute. What the Accord does well is recover fast. The climate system pulls a roasting cabin down to bearable within a few minutes and to properly cold soon after, with rear vents keeping back-seat passengers comfortable on a longer drive, which matters more than it sounds with kids aboard on the way in from the airport. Park in shade where you can and crack the windows for a few seconds before you set off, and Dubai summer is a non-issue in this car. Seat belts are required in every seat, and a child seat is mandatory for under-fours, which we can fit on request.
Rent the Accord 2023 if you want a lot of comfortable, refined sedan for the money and you'll spend real time on the highway and at the airport. It's the natural pick over a smaller sedan when the drive matters more than the parking, and the rate makes it one of the easiest value calls we hand over.
Its closest rival is the Toyota Camry, and the two run close. The Camry feels a touch more relaxed and isolating, the Accord a little sharper and quicker to answer the throttle, so pick the Accord if you actually enjoy driving. Two honest steers away from it: if your week is short city errands and tight parking, a Honda City saves you fuel and the daily fight for a bay, and if you need a high seat, an easy step-in for older passengers, or a tall boot for odd-shaped loads, a midsize SUV is the better tool. For everyone covering Dubai's long roads on a budget, the Accord is the right amount of car.
