How it drives the highway

The E11 is where this car makes the most sense. How often you'll stop for fuel

The Emgrand is frugal in a way that adds up over a rental. The 50-litre tank and the small 1.5-litre engine mean a normal week of Dubai driving, roughly 50 to 60 km a day across the office run and errands, gets close to a full week on one fill. The combined figure lands near 6.3 L/100 km on paper. In the real world here, with the AC fighting 45-degree heat and stop-start crawls on Al Khail, expect nearer 7. That still gives you around 700 km of range, so most renters fill once a week and twice only if they're doing daily airport drops. Cooling and parking

Park it in midday July sun and the cabin will be harsh for the first stretch, the same as every car in this city. Boot space when luggage matters

The 500-litre boot is the quiet advantage over the hatchbacks people rent to shave a few dirhams. It swallows two large suitcases and a couple of cabin bags with the rear seats up, so a family of four flying into DXB or DWC fits a week of luggage without folding anything. Three big cases plus carry-ons is the realistic ceiling, which is more than most renters ever need.

Who should rent it, and who shouldn't

Rent the Emgrand 2025 if you want the cheapest comfortable sedan for highway commuting, airport runs and the occasional weekend out, and you'd take a calm cruise and low running cost over outright pace.
