The flip side is on-road feel. A tall, boxy 4x4 on chunky tyres is never going to glide like a sedan. That's the trade for what it can do off the road.

Hatta, dunes and the clearance that backs it up

This is where the Bronco stops being a styling exercise. Run it on max for the first stretch, then ease off. It gets there, but a big greenhouse cabin asks more of the AC than a small hatchback does.

Boot space and refuelling on a Dubai week

Five seats and a usable square boot mean weekend kit, a couple of large cases and soft bags fit without a fight. It's a proper SUV load space, not a token one. Where you'll plan ahead is fuel. A turbocharged off-roader this size sits around 11 to 12 litres per 100km in normal mixed driving, and harder off-road days drink more. On the roughly 79-litre tank that's real range, but expect to fill up more often than you would in an economy car, and budget for it on a long trip.

Parking, Salik and the rules

Parking is the everyday catch. The Bronco is tall and wide, so tight multi-storey bays and the spiralled Marina ramps need patience and a careful eye on the mirrors. Surface lots and open parking suit it far better. Speed bumps are a non-event with this clearance.
