Need a full-size sedan in Dubai without tying up a chunk of cash in a security hold? We hand over the Chevrolet Impala 2025 with a no-deposit option, brought to your door across the city. This is a big, comfortable, value-first sedan: a back seat most rivals can't touch, a deep boot that swallows a family's airport cases, and a relaxed cruise on the highway. It rents here as the roomy pick for people who want the most space for their money, not the sharpest drive. The Impala is comfort-first and honest about it, so this page helps you decide whether that's the car you actually want for the week.
This Impala runs the 2.5-litre four-cylinder, 197 horsepower, paired to a six-speed automatic driving the front wheels. It's not the V6 some people picture when they hear "Impala," and that matters. The four does 0 to 100 in about 8.7 seconds, plenty for merging onto Sheikh Zayed Road and overtaking at speed, but without the effortless surge of the six. For the cruising, airport runs and odd weekend trip most renters do here, the four is enough and easier on fuel.

The Impala's case is space, and it delivers. The back seat is genuinely large, enough that three adults across won't be negotiating elbow room on a longer drive, and a tall passenger behind a tall driver still has knee space to spare. Most midsize sedans make the back-seat passengers compromise. This one doesn't.
The boot is the other half of the argument. At roughly 532 litres it's one of the deepest in any sedan we rent. Two large hard cases and a couple of cabin bags go in flat with room to spare, so a family of four coming through DXB or DWC isn't stacking luggage on the back seat.
On the highway the Impala is in its element. It settles at 120 and stays quiet, soaks up the expansion joints on the E11, and tracks straight without you working at it. The soft suspension that makes it this good on the open road is the same suspension that makes it lean and float through quick direction changes. Push it on a twisty road and the body rolls and the steering tells you little. That's the trade. Drive it for what it is and it's lovely; expect a sports sedan and you'll be disappointed.
Size is the thing to watch around town. At over five metres long this is a big car to thread through a tight Marina ramp or reverse into a narrow multi-storey bay, and the turning circle asks for patience on a U-turn. If your week is mostly mall parking and short city hops, you'll notice the length. Speed bumps and mall ramps are fine; the Impala has normal sedan clearance and takes them without scraping.
Dubai summers push past 45 degrees, and a silver car left in the sun gets brutally hot inside. The Impala's air conditioning is strong and the cabin is well sealed, so once you're moving it pulls the temperature down quickly and holds it. Give it a few minutes with the doors open or the windows cracked first if it's been baking in a car park all afternoon, then let the system do its work on the drive. Rear passengers get their own vents, which on a car with a back seat this big actually matters when you've got kids behind you.
On fuel, the 2.5-litre is the sensible engine. Real Dubai driving, a mix of highway cruising and stop-start traffic, lands around 9 litres per 100km, and the roughly 70-litre tank means a working range close to 770 km. In practice you're filling up maybe once a week on normal use, less if you're mostly on the highway. That's a real advantage over the thirstier V6 Impala and a reason the four-cylinder makes sense for a rental.
A couple of Dubai rules to keep in mind. Salik tolls and any RTA fines run up during your rental are passed on to you, so keep an eye on the gantries and the speed limits. Seat belts are required in every seat.
Rent the Impala if space and comfort top your list: families landing at the airport with a week of luggage, anyone doing regular highway runs, or a group that wants three people genuinely comfortable in the back. For the money, nothing we rent gives you this much room.
Look elsewhere if your week is mostly tight city parking and short errands; a midsize sedan is easier to place and just as comfortable for two or three people. And if you're carrying five or six plus a roof's worth of gear, or you want any kind of rough-road ability, size up to an SUV instead. The Impala is the value space champion among sedans, as long as you don't ask it to be sporty or compact.
