Chevrolet Camaro 2025 - start from 519 AED / day

Park a Chevrolet Camaro 2025 outside a Jumeirah cafe and people look. That's the point of renting one, and we hand it over at your door in Dubai with payment kept flexible and settled on delivery, so you can sort the paperwork without a trip to a counter. This is a rear-drive American coupe you book for presence: the low wide stance, the V8 rumble at a set of lights, the way it owns a lane on Sheikh Zayed Road. It is not a sensible daily runabout, and this page is honest about that. Read on if you want the drama and can live with a snug cabin and a small boot.

A car you rent to be seen in

The Camaro's appeal is mostly visual and aural. The body sits low and stretches wide, the roofline is chopped, and the front end is all jaw and squint. On a Marina cruise or the run up to a beach club, it reads exactly as intended: loud, deliberate, a little bit show-off. The V8 SS adds the soundtrack, a deep idle and a hard bark on throttle that turns heads before anyone sees the badge.

If you're picking between engines, the choice is real. The 3.6 V6 at 335 HP looks the part and costs less to run. The 6.2 V8 SS at 455 HP is the one people actually want, with the noise and the shove to back up the looks. There's a supercharged ZL1 above both if you want the extreme, but for most renters the SS is the sweet spot of drama and sanity.

What it's like to live with for a week

Here's where honesty earns its keep. The Camaro is a 2+2, so the back seats are for bags or short hops, not adults. Anyone over about five-foot-six in the rear will be folded against the headliner within a block. Outward visibility is poor: the side glass is shallow, the rear screen is a letterbox, and thick pillars create blind spots that take a day to learn. A reversing camera helps in tight bays, and you'll lean on it.

The ride is firm. On smoother highways that translates to planted and confident, but the same stiffness thumps over patched tarmac and makes speed bumps an event you slow right down for. The 115 mm ground clearance is low, so steep mall ramps and sharp driveway lips need care to avoid scraping the nose.

The table is reference. The judgment is below it.

Heat, the cabin and that low roofline

A dark, low-roofed coupe bakes fast when it's parked in July sun. The Camaro's AC pulls hard once it's running and the front vents are strong, so the cabin gets comfortable, but a closed greenhouse at 45C takes a few minutes to recover after a parked stretch. Crack the windows for the first half-minute, then let it run. A dark interior means the seats will be properly hot before they cool. There are no meaningful rear vents, which matters little given who sits back there.

Fuel, tolls and the rules

The V8 is thirsty. At roughly 7.6 km/L in real city use, a 72-litre tank gives you something near 730 km if you drive gently, and noticeably less if you enjoy the engine, which you will. Plan on filling up more than once across a busy week. Fuel here is cheap by global standards, so the bigger cost is your attention, not your wallet.

Salik tolls run automatically as you pass the gantries, and those are on you, as are any RTA fines. Speed enforcement on the E11 is camera-heavy, and a 455 HP coupe makes it easy to drift over a limit without noticing, so watch the dash. Seatbelts are mandatory in every seat. None of this is Camaro-specific, but the temptation is higher in this car than in most.

Parking, luggage and airport runs

The Camaro is wide and long, and the low scuttle plus poor rear visibility make tight multi-storey bays a slow, careful job. Pick end bays where you can, and use the camera. For luggage, the boot is small at around 9 cubic feet with a high lip and a narrow opening. One large suitcase plus a soft bag is realistic, two large cases is a squeeze, and the 2+2 rear seats are your overflow shelf. For a DXB or DWC pickup with a full set of cases and passengers, this is the wrong car. Two people travelling light can make an airport run work; a family with a week's luggage cannot.

Who should rent it, and who shouldn't

Rent the Camaro if you want a statement for a few days: a weekend of cruising, a photo backdrop, a birthday, or a trip where the car is part of the occasion. Go for the V8 SS if the noise is the reason you're here, and the V6 if you want the look with calmer running costs. Skip it if you need real back-seat space, easy parking, or boot room for more than two people's bags. For four adults and airport luggage, take a sedan; for desert tracks and high clearance, take an SUV. The Camaro does one job and does it with conviction, and if that job is turning heads on Sheikh Zayed Road, nothing in its price bracket does it better.
