Chevrolet Camaro 2025 - start from 507 AED / day

Park a Chevrolet Camaro 2025 outside any cafe in Dubai and people look. We bring this rear-drive coupe to your door in one to two hours, and you settle up on the spot however suits you, by card, cash, bank transfer, or a wallet like Apple Pay or Google Pay, so the booking never stalls on payment. That ease matters here, because the Camaro is a car you rent for a reason that has nothing to do with sense. You rent it for the shape, the V6 noise off the line, and the way it owns a lane on Sheikh Zayed Road. What it isn't is a sensible daily driver, and the rest of this page is about getting that trade honest before you book.

What you're actually renting

This is the V6 Camaro, the 3.6-litre making 335 horsepower, sent to the rear wheels through either a six-speed manual or a ten-speed automatic. In Dubai traffic, take the automatic. The manual is a lovely thing on an open road, but you'll hate it crawling toward Downtown at 6pm in 44-degree heat.

Performance is the whole point and the V6 delivers plenty of it. Nought to 100 km/h lands in roughly six seconds, and the car pulls hard well past any speed Dubai's cameras will tolerate. The drama is real. The presence is real. Just remember the limiter on the fun is the RTA, not the engine.

Who fits, and who doesn't

Four seats on paper, two seats in practice. The back is a 2+2, fine for bags or a short hop with friends, not for adults on an airport run. Anyone over about five-foot-eight in the rear will have their knees in the front seatback and their head against the glass within ten minutes. Get in and out of the back through a coupe door in a tight parking bay and the novelty dies fast.

Up front it's a different car. The driver's seat is low, snug, and properly bolstered, and the cabin wraps around you the way a sports car should. Two adults travelling light have a genuinely good time. Add a third or fourth and you've bought the wrong car for the trip.

Luggage: pack light

The boot is small and the opening is narrow. Realistically you're fitting one large suitcase plus a soft bag, or two cabin cases, and that's the ceiling. The rear seats fold, which helps if you're carrying gear rather than passengers, but the loading slot stays awkward. For a couple's week away with two big cases and hand luggage, you'll be playing tetris or leaving something behind. If the trip needs real boot space, a sedan or crossover is the honest answer.

Living with it in the heat

A low, dark coupe sitting in a Dubai car park bakes. After a few hours at 45 degrees the cabin is genuinely hot, and the long sloped windscreen pulls in a lot of sun. The good news is the AC is strong once it's running. Give it five minutes with the fan up and it pulls the temperature down properly, helped by the small cabin volume it has to cool. Park in shade or a basement when you can, drop the windows for the first thirty seconds to dump the worst of the heat, then let the climate system do its work.

Visibility is the other daily compromise. The roofline is low, the rear glass is a slot, and the over-the-shoulder view is poor. You learn to lean on the mirrors and the camera, but reversing out of a packed mall level takes patience the first few times.

On the road and around town

This is where the Camaro earns its rental. On the E11 it's planted, quiet enough to cruise, and it overtakes with contempt. The rear-drive chassis feels alive in a way nothing in the economy fleet does. It is built for that long straight run between emirates, and it loves it.

Town is the trade-off. The ride is firm and it finds every joint and patched section of road. Speed bumps need real care, because at 110 to 115 mm of clearance the low nose will scrape a steep one if you take it square and fast. The car is also wide at nearly 1.9 metres, so Marina ramps, older multi-storey bays, and tight U-turns all ask for attention. None of it is a dealbreaker, but a compact car this is not.

Range is a non-issue for a week here. The 72-litre tank and 13 to 15 km/L on a steady mixed drive give you the better part of a full tank's reach between fills, so for normal Dubai use you're filling up once, maybe twice. Drive it hard and lean on the engine and that economy drops, as it should. Note that Salik tolls, plus any speeding fines and the AC running flat out, all sit with you as the renter, and seatbelts are required in every seat. Stricter security terms can apply on a car like this, so confirm the exact deposit and driver conditions when you book.

The verdict

Rent the Camaro for what it is. If you want a head-turning, loud, rear-drive coupe for a few days of Sheikh Zayed Road cruising, a weekend that's about the car itself, or a statement arrival, this is one of the most fun things in the fleet and it's worth every compromise. Two people, light bags, no school run, perfect.

If you're carrying four adults, hauling real luggage from DXB, or just want something easy to park and live with every day, don't fight the Camaro's nature. Book a sedan or an SUV instead and rent the coupe for the weekend you actually want to remember.
