What the Escalade adds is a hushed cabin at speed and the kind of arrival that matters outside a hotel or a wedding venue, a fair reason to pick it, just not a mechanical one.

What the Escalade actually holds, seats up or folded

Seven seats are the real reason most people book this car, laid out as two captain's chairs in the middle row and a bench across the back. The third row is where the size pays off: grown adults can sit back there for a proper trip across town, not just the school run, and the middle chairs slide and tip forward on their own, so nobody climbs over a folded seat to get in.
