The air suspension smooths Dubai's expansion joints and speed bumps, the cabin stays hushed at a 120 cruise, and the steering is light around town yet accurate on the open E11.

The second row is where passengers get the better seat. There's real legroom, a separate climate zone, and proper air vents, so the people you booked the seven-seater for actually travel in comfort. If you spend your week ferrying family or collecting guests, that back-seat experience is what justifies the badge.

The fuel and parking reality

The official combined figure is 10.5 L/100km. In honest Dubai use, AC fighting the heat and a heavy right foot on the highway, plan for 12 to 13. The 83-litre tank still gives you roughly 650 km between fills, so a normal week of city driving plus a couple of longer runs means one stop at the pump, maybe two. Fuel is cheap here, but this is not the car for someone counting every dirham of it.

Size is the daily cost you feel more often. At two metres wide and over five long, the X7 is a deliberate park.
