Audi RSQ8 2022 - start from 1,196 AED / day

Rent the Audi RS Q8 2022 in Dubai and we'll have it at your door in one to two hours, with a no-deposit option for a small fee so you skip the heavy card hold most desks insist on. This is the full-size super-SUV with a 591 hp twin-turbo V8, Quattro all-wheel drive, and air suspension, and it rents here because it does something rare: it carries five people and a week of luggage while sounding and accelerating like a sports car. The decision this page helps you make is whether you want that V8 character enough to live with the fuel bill, because if you only need a calm, quiet large SUV, a standard Q8 saves you money and you'll barely miss the drama.

The engine is the whole reason to book it

The RS Q8 runs a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with a 48-volt mild-hybrid layer, 591 hp, sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic. Audi quotes 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. Numbers aside, what you notice first is the noise and the way a two-tonne SUV gathers speed like something half its size. Flatten the throttle on an empty on-ramp and it surges with a deep V8 growl that a turbo six or a diesel simply can't fake. That sound and that pull are what you're paying for. If they don't move you, you're renting the wrong car.

What it costs you at the pump

A 591 hp V8 is not frugal, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. In Dubai's stop-start traffic with the AC fighting the heat, you'll go through fuel quickly, and the engine rewards enthusiasm with a thirstier average. The 85-litre tank gives a sensible week of range for normal running, but plan a fill every few days of mixed driving, sooner if you keep using the performance. Premium fuel is the right call. Budget two or three fill-ups across a typical week and you won't be caught out. If refuelling frequency genuinely bothers you, this is the wrong segment, and a calmer Q8 will stretch much further on the same tank.

Five seats and real luggage

This is the RS Q8's quiet advantage over low, fast cars. Five adults sit properly without anyone wedged against a door, and the 605-litre boot takes a couple of large hard cases plus the soft bags and pushchair a family airport run to DXB always produces. Fold the rear seats and the flat space turns cavernous. Most cars with this kind of pace force you to choose between speed and carrying people. Here you don't, which is exactly why it suits someone who wants one vehicle for the whole week rather than a weekend toy.

Parking, ramps and the air suspension trick

At just over two metres wide and five metres long, the RS Q8 is a big vehicle, and you feel it in older Marina towers and tight multi-storey bays. The 360-degree cameras and sensors carry most of the load, but take the wide bays when you can. The air suspension is what saves it around town. It lifts the body over aggressive speed bumps and steep mall ramps that would have a lowered car wincing, with up to 254 mm of clearance when raised, then drops it low and flat for the highway. U-turns just need a moment's patience for the length.

On Sheikh Zayed Road and the heat

The E11 is where this car relaxes. It sits planted and quiet at a cruise, overtakes arrive the instant you ask, and the long wheelbase keeps it composed where a shorter SUV would feel busy. Airport runs to DXB or DWC are effortless, and it has the legs for a weekend drive toward Hatta and the mountains.

Parked in 45-degree sun, a cabin this size gets brutal, but the four-zone climate handles it well. The front vents move serious air, rear passengers get their own outlets, and the system pulls a baking cabin down to comfortable in a few minutes rather than the ten you'd suffer in a budget car. Those rear vents earn their keep with kids aboard in July. Two desk reminders: Salik tolls and any RTA fines during the rental are billed to you, and a child under four legally needs a child seat, which we can fit on request.

Who should rent it, and who shouldn't

Rent the RS Q8 2022 if the V8 is the point, and you want genuine speed and sound in a vehicle that still does the airport, the mall and a family week without complaint. It earns its keep by refusing to make you choose between drama and practicality, and the no-deposit option keeps the booking clean.

Skip it if your week is short city errands, where the fuel bill and the width are wasted and a standard Q8 does the daily job for far less. And if you want the same pace with louder theatre and don't mind the running cost, the Lamborghini Urus is the more extrovert cousin. For someone who wants supercar acceleration and a real five-seat SUV in one key, though, the RS Q8 is the smarter pick.
