The Audi RS Q3 2021 hides a 394 horsepower five-cylinder under the body of a sensible small SUV, and that's the whole reason to rent one in Dubai. We deliver it to your door within one to two hours, and what you're getting is a car that runs 0-100 in 4.4 seconds and still parks like a normal compact crossover. The five-cylinder turbo is the famous part, with a warble no four-cylinder rival can match, and it makes this the rare fast car you can use all week without the headaches of something low and stiff. Our take: if you want serious pace and a special engine but need a car that survives daily Dubai life, the RS Q3 is the sweet spot.
Plenty of small SUVs are quick now. Almost none of them sound like this. The 2.5-litre turbo five has an off-beat firing order that gives it a distinctive growl, the kind of engine character people seek out, and Audi has kept it alive while rivals went to plainer fours. From the driver's seat in Dubai traffic it's a constant small thrill, and on an open stretch of the E11 it's genuinely fast.
That's what separates the RS Q3 from a normal premium crossover. You're not paying for the badge alone. You're paying for an engine that makes every short trip feel like more than an errand, wrapped in a body that does the school run and the airport pickup without complaint.

The table is reference. The numbers that decide your rental are the boot, the clearance, and how the pace fits Dubai, so here's that read.
With Quattro all-wheel drive and the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, the RS Q3 puts its power down cleanly and launches hard. The 4.4-second 0-100 figure is supercar territory from a few years back, and the car feels every bit of it pulling onto Sheikh Zayed Road. The gearbox is quick and the all-wheel-drive traction means the pace is usable rather than scary in normal conditions.
The 63-litre tank is the figure for a week here. A performance five-cylinder isn't built for economy, so in city driving with the AC working you'll fill up more often than in a regular crossover, but the tank still carries you across several days of normal running plus the odd airport run. Drive it hard and it drinks accordingly. That's the trade for the engine, and most people who book this car accept it happily.
This is where the RS Q3 earns its everyday keep. The boot holds 530 litres, which is genuinely useful for the class, taking two large cases plus soft bags without a struggle. Fold the rear seats and you get up to 1,525 litres of flat load space for a bigger run. For a couple or a small family, the practicality is real, not token.
It's a five-seater, and two up front plus two in the back is comfortable. Three adults across the rear works for shorter trips but gets tight on a long one. For most rentals here, a couple plus a child or two, that's never an issue. You get the pace and you keep the usefulness.
At just over 4.5 metres long the RS Q3 is easy to place. Tight multi-storey bays, the steep Marina ramps, and mall car parks are all straightforward, and the high seating position helps you judge the corners. Around 170 mm of clearance clears Dubai's speed bumps and the lips at parking entrances without scraping, so you're not crawling over every hump the way a low sports car forces you to.
On the open road it's planted and quiet at a cruise, stable when you overtake, and the Quattro system gives sure footing on tarmac. It's a road SUV, not a dune car, so leave soft sand to a proper off-roader. For everything a normal Dubai week involves, it's fast where you want speed and calm where you don't.
Dubai summers run past 45 degrees, and the test for any car here is how fast it recovers from a sun-baked start. The RS Q3's climate system pulls the cabin down quickly once you're moving, the front vents hit hard, and there are rear vents so back-seat passengers aren't left baking. Give it a minute with the doors shut and it's comfortable. The compact cabin actually helps, since there's less air to cool than in a big SUV.
Salik tolls are charged to the renter as you pass the gantries, and any RTA fines during the rental pass to you, which matters in a car that builds speed this fast. Performance cars also carry stricter rental conditions than everyday models, so while we rent from 18 across much of our fleet, the RS Q3 typically sits under a higher minimum age, confirmed at booking. We accept card, debit, cash, bank transfer, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and crypto.
Rent the RS Q3 2021 if you want real performance and a special engine but refuse to give up daily usability: someone who'd love a hot hatch but needs the space, clearance, and easy parking of a small SUV. It's the most practical way to have a fast, characterful car for a Dubai week.
Skip it if you just want a comfortable premium crossover for errands. You'll pay for performance you won't use and burn more fuel doing it, and a standard Q3 or similar will be cheaper and calmer. And if you want maximum pace with no compromise on drama, a low sports car gives more theatre, just not the practicality. The RS Q3 is for the person who wants both at once, and at this size, little else delivers it.
