If your week in Dubai is mostly tight parking, U-turns and mall ramps, the Audi Q2 2024 is one of the easiest premium cars we can put you in. At 4,191 mm it's shorter than most sedans on the road here, so it ducks into Marina bays and multi-storey slots that have bigger crossovers circling twice. We deliver it to your door across Dubai in one to two hours, and the case for this car is its size: a real Audi cabin in a body small enough to make the fiddly parts of city driving disappear. It's a one-or-two-person car, and below I'll be honest about where that small footprint costs you.
The Q2 is the most compact crossover Audi sells, and that's a feature, not a compromise, for the way most people actually drive here. The short overhangs and 1,794 mm width mean you place it precisely in tight spaces, the steering is light at parking speed, and the slightly raised seating helps you judge the corners. For a single person doing a week of meetings, beach mornings and dinners across town, it's close to ideal, and it never fights you for a bay.
The flip side lives behind the front seats. The rear bench is fine for two adults on a short hop, but knee room runs thin behind a tall driver, and three across the back is a squeeze. If you'll regularly carry four adults or you're a family with a stroller and a week's luggage, this isn't the car. Size up to a Q3 for proper rear room.

| Power | 150 hp, 250 Nm |

That 1.4 turbo is well matched to Dubai. With 150 hp and 250 Nm in a light body, it merges onto Sheikh Zayed Road without drama and has enough mid-range to overtake on the E11. The dual-clutch gearbox is smooth once you're rolling. It's not a hot hatch off the line, but you're never wishing for more in normal traffic.
The Q2 earns its rate around town, with one honest catch. At 144 mm it sits low for an SUV, lower than a lot of crossovers, so take the aggressive speed bumps in older communities and the steep mall-ramp lips slowly and at an angle. Nose it gently and you're fine; charge a sharp bump and you'll hear it. This is strictly a paved-road car. For Hatta wadis or dune runs, rent something with proper clearance and a drivetrain to match.
Real city driving lands closer to the 12-13 km/L city figure, because most of your week is AC-on, stop-start, mall-and-school-zone running rather than steady highway. With the 50-litre tank that's a genuine 600 km or so before you think about a station, so a typical week is one fill, maybe two if you're commuting out to the other emirates. You won't be hunting for petrol mid-trip.
A small cabin is your friend in July. When the Q2 has baked in a parking structure and the dash reads 45 outside, the AC pulls the temperature down fast simply because there's less air to chill than in a big SUV. Run the front vents on full for the first couple of minutes, crack the windows for ten seconds to dump the worst of the trapped heat, and it's comfortable quickly. The honest note: there are no dedicated rear vents, so a back-seat passenger relies on cold air drifting back from the front. For one or two up front it's a non-issue; with the rear bench full on a long midday drive, the people behind feel it more.
For two people and their cases to DXB or DWC, the Q2 is comfortable. The boot takes two large 23kg cases plus a couple of small bags with the seats up. Fold the rear bench and it stretches to around six cases, but then you've given up the back row. A third passenger's luggage means a real packing decision. Pack for the car, not the other way round, and the airport trip is easy.
A few Dubai rules sit with whoever holds the key. Salik tolls are billed to the renter as you cross the gantries, any RTA fines during the rental pass to you, and seatbelts are mandatory in every seat. A child under four needs a proper child seat, which we can fit on request.
Rent the Audi Q2 2024 if you're one or two people who want the Audi badge and cabin in a car that makes city parking effortless, and you value easy maneuvering over rear space. For couples, solo trips and anyone living in the towers where bays are tight, it's a genuinely relaxing car to run for a week.
If you'll regularly seat four adults, or you're moving a family with luggage, the rear room and the boot will frustrate you, and the Q3 is the smarter rent. If the badge isn't the reason you're booking, a mainstream small crossover will give you similar space for less. But for premium feel in a car that never struggles for a space, the Q2 is the one to book.
