Need to move a whole group at once? We hand over the Toyota HiAce 2025 across Dubai, brought to your door, with payment kept flexible and settled on delivery. This is the big-group workhorse: thirteen seats, a tall cabin you can almost stand up in, and a diesel that just keeps going. A full tour group, a large family, or a work crew that all needs to travel together does it in one trip instead of two cars. This page is about whether the HiAce suits your week, where its size helps, and where a smaller vehicle would serve you better.
The argument is simple. If you regularly carry eight, ten, or twelve people, nothing in the economy bracket matches a HiAce for sheer capacity. Airport pickups for a wedding party, a hotel-to-venue corporate shuttle, an extended family heading to the desert for the weekend: this is the van's natural job. Everyone rides in one vehicle and the driver gets a commanding view over traffic.
What it isn't is a comfort cruiser. The cabin is honest and functional rather than plush. Seats are durable cloth, the dashboard is built for hard use, and the ride tells you you're in a van. That's the trade. You get space and dependability, not soft-touch luxury.
Thirteen people fit, and they fit without anyone folding themselves in. Headroom is the standout. The roof sits high enough that adults aren't ducking, and the wide sliding side door makes getting in and out easy even for older passengers. Three rows of bench seating behind the driver carry the group, and the back of the cabin swallows luggage.
Be realistic about loading both at once, though. Thirteen passengers plus thirteen full-size suitcases won't all go in together. For an airport run with a fully booked van, plan on carry-ons and soft bags behind the rear bench, or run two lighter trips. With nine or ten aboard you get both people and a proper pile of cases. A flat, square load area with no awkward wheel-arch intrusions is what makes this easy.

The 2.8 diesel makes 150 hp, which is plenty for moving the van around town and holding a steady cruise, but it's not quick. With thirteen aboard and the AC on hard, the HiAce gets up to speed in its own time. On Sheikh Zayed Road it settles happily at the limit and tracks straight. Just leave more room for overtaking than you would in a car. Driven at a relaxed pace with a full load it's calm and predictable, which is exactly what you want when you're responsible for a dozen passengers.
Heat is the question every Dubai renter asks, and a big cabin is the hard case. Parked under the June sun the HiAce gets genuinely hot inside, and a small car cools faster simply because there's less air to chill. The plus side is the ducting: vents run down the cabin so the rear rows get cold air too, not just the front two seats. Give it a few minutes with the doors shut and the fan up before you load everyone, and by the time you're on the road it holds the cabin comfortable even at 45 degrees. On a packed van, that head start matters.
Diesel economy is the quiet win. At around 10 km/L and a 70-litre tank, you'll cover a serious distance between fills. A week of city shuttling and a couple of airport runs rarely needs more than one or two stops, and the single diesel van costs far less to fuel than two petrol SUVs carrying the same group.
This is where you have to be straight with yourself. The HiAce is long and tall, and Dubai's parking wasn't built for it. Marina towers and many mall basements have height barriers and tight, curving ramps that a 2.28-metre-tall van will not clear or will struggle to swing through. Before you book, think about where it sleeps overnight and where you'll park at your destination. Surface lots, hotel forecourts, and open parking are your friends. Multi-storey bays often are not.
On the move it's manageable once you adjust. U-turns need the full lane, speed bumps want a gentle approach so the back row doesn't get jolted, and reversing into a tight space is easier with a spotter. The high seating position gives you a clear view over surrounding traffic.
A few Dubai rules carry across to you as the renter. Salik tolls run up automatically as you pass the gantries, and any RTA fines during your rental are yours to settle. Seat belts are required in every seat, and children under four need a proper child seat, worth planning for if your group includes little ones.
Rent the HiAce when the job is moving a lot of people at once and you can park something this big. Tour groups, large families, sports teams, and work crews are exactly its crowd, and the diesel running cost makes it the sensible call over two separate cars. If you're four or five people who value comfort and easy parking, a seven-seat SUV will serve you better and slot into any garage. If the priority is a smart arrival or executive comfort, look at a luxury people-mover instead. But for raw capacity, a high view, and a van that simply works, the HiAce 2025 earns its keep. We'll have it at your door in one to two hours.
