A Rolls-Royce that makes no sound at all still catches people off guard, and that's the whole pitch of the Rolls-Royce Spectre 2024. It's the brand's first fully electric model, a two-door coupe with 577 hp split across two motors and nothing under the bonnet left to hum or growl. Renting a Rolls-Royce Spectre 2024 in Dubai puts that near silence to work on Sheikh Zayed Road rather than a showroom floor. We deliver it to your hotel, villa or terminal, usually within one to two hours of booking, in black, with four seats. This page settles one thing: whether a Rolls without the V12 soundtrack still earns the badge for what you're actually renting it to do.
Two motors, one at each axle, send the Spectre's 577 hp and 900 Nm through all four wheels, and 0-100 km/h takes 4.5 seconds despite this being the heaviest two-door Rolls-Royce ever built, at just under three tonnes. That weight is deliberate. With no V12 left to cover the sound of the road, Rolls-Royce added mass and insulation specifically to keep wind and tyre noise out, and the result is a cabin quieter than the V12 cars in the same fleet. There's no gearbox to shift and no exhaust note to rise and fall, just one continuous shove of torque from a standstill. On Sheikh Zayed Road that turns into overtakes that need no anticipation at all, since the power is already there before you've finished asking for it. The car stays planted and hushed at speed, and the only real giveaway that you're moving fast is the number on the dial. It's still a huge two-door at over 5.4 metres long, so it asks for the same care through a tight ramp or a valet queue that any long, low, expensive coupe does. That's the trade for driving something this quiet: you enjoy it most in a straight line or a sweeping curve, not threading through a car park.

Four seats sounds generous for a coupe, but treat it the way you'd treat any 2+2: two adults up front in real comfort, two more in the back for someone shorter, or for a shorter hop. The coach doors, hinged at the rear like the rest of the modern Rolls-Royce range, open wide and make climbing into that back seat easier than most coupes manage, though headroom still shrinks under the sloping roofline for anyone over about six feet. The boot holds 380 litres, enough for a couple of soft bags and one hard case, not a full set of matching airport luggage for four people. Two people travelling light for a weekend fit the car well. Four adults with a week's worth of cases off a DXB flight will find the Spectre tight before the seats are, and a Ghost or a Cullinan carries that job with far less compromise.
Heat is the part every EV renter in Dubai should ask about. There's no idling engine to fall back on, so cooling the cabin down after it's sat parked in 45-degree sun draws straight from the same battery that moves the car. The system pulls the temperature down quickly once you're driving, and the vents reach the rear seats properly, but leaving the climate control running while the car sits waiting at a pickup point costs you range in a way a combustion Rolls-Royce simply doesn't.
Rolls-Royce quotes 530 km on the WLTP cycle from the 102 kWh usable battery, though that figure assumes mild conditions and a light foot, and neither describes a Dubai summer with the air conditioning working hard. Expect real-world range to sit noticeably under the claimed number once the cabin cooling is running constantly. A public DC charger can take the battery from 10 to 80 percent in around half an hour when you find a fast one, while a standard AC charger is closer to 11 kW and needs most of a working day, so plan charging around where you're staying rather than counting on a quick top-up between errands.
This is also where the rental math gets serious. The mileage allowance on this car is 4,500 km for the whole rental, generous unless you're driving it daily for weeks on end, but extra kilometres cost AED 15.0 each, a genuinely steep rate compared with almost anything else we rent. Track your distance if the booking runs long. On a car this expensive to run past its allowance, a few unplanned days of heavy driving add up fast.
Rent the Spectre 2024 if the appeal is the electric side of it specifically: arriving somewhere in a two-door Rolls-Royce that makes no noise at all, for someone who wants that unfamiliar, slightly eerie experience rather than the familiar V12 theatre. It suits a couple, a short highway run, or an occasion where the point is how quiet the arrival is rather than how loud the departure sounds. It isn't the car for four adults with luggage, and it isn't the car for anyone set on the classic combustion Rolls-Royce sound, in which case a Wraith or a Ghost from the same fleet is the better fit. Standard rental terms apply on top of the driving: Salik tolls and any RTA fines during the rental are yours, seat belts are required in every seat, and children under four need a proper child seat. You'll need to be at least 21 to take the keys, and as with the rest of the range, a refundable deposit applies rather than a no-deposit deal on a car at this value. Book it for the novelty and the quiet, not for the space, and it delivers something no other car we hand over does.
