The result is 394 PS, or 388 hp, at 6,500 rpm and 450 Nm of torque, a genuine gain over the pre-facelift base car rather than a marketing rounding error. Drive goes to the rear wheels only, through an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic, the sole gearbox offered on this car. Zero to 100 km/h takes about 4.1 seconds, closer to 3.9 in Sport Plus, and top speed is 294 km/h.

None of that changes how the car behaves at a valet stand or crawling down Sheikh Zayed Road at rush hour. It changes what happens when you finally get a clear stretch of road and put your foot down. The bigger turbos spool with less lag than the car this one replaces, so the power arrives sooner in the rev range, and the extra cooling capacity means that response holds up better on a hot afternoon than it would in the older car. Two seats you'll use, two you won't, and the boot that decides your packing

Every 911 is badged 2+2, and this one is no different: two proper seats up front, and a rear bench that's really a shelf with belts.
