Most rear-engine sports cars in Dubai want you at 25 before they hand over the keys. Book the Porsche 911 2025 through us and the minimum age is 21, the same as our regular sedans, which is unusual for a car this quick. We deliver it to your hotel, home or terminal within one to two hours of booking, finished here in black. The lower age bar doesn't mean a softer car. This is still the rear-wheel-drive 911, a fixed roof, an automatic gearbox, and two seats that do real work while two more mostly don't. The question this page answers is whether that lower age bar still gets you the real 911 experience, or a watered-down version of it.
It doesn't. This is the current, facelifted generation, and Porsche didn't leave the engine alone this time round. The 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six now runs turbochargers borrowed from the outgoing GTS car and an intercooler moved to a spot above the engine, under the decklid grille, both changes lifted from the Turbo models. Output lands at 394 PS, or 388 hp, at 6,500 rpm, with 450 Nm of torque, a real step up from the pre-facelift base car rather than a rounding change. Drive goes to the rear wheels only, through an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic, the only gearbox this car comes with. Zero to 100 km/h takes about 4.1 seconds and top speed is 294 km/h.
None of that shows up crawling out of a hotel valet lane at 20 km/h. It shows up on a clear stretch of the E11 when you finally put your foot down, and the response arrives sooner than it used to because the bigger turbos spool faster. For someone who's never driven anything like this before, that's the reassuring part. Full throttle in a 911 sounds and feels dramatic, but the rear-wheel-drive base car is honest about what it's doing rather than overwhelming, which is exactly why a lower age limit makes sense here in a way it wouldn't on the all-wheel-drive, 541 hp convertible further up our fleet.

The 2+2 badge is honest if you read it correctly. Up front there are two proper seats built for a driver who actually cares about a sports car, and behind them a bench that suits a child on a short run or a bag you'd rather not leave on the parcel shelf. No adult wants to sit back there past the end of the driveway, and pretending otherwise sets up a bad first day of a rental. Fold those backrests flat, though, and the space becomes genuinely useful, up to 264 litres between the front seats and the rear glass, enough for a second holdall or a week of shopping bags.
The boot that actually decides your packing sits under the bonnet, and it holds 132 litres. That's one cabin-sized case and a soft bag for two people, not three hard suitcases for a week away. Land at DXB with full-size luggage and this car runs out of room fast, so bring duffels or split the load with a second car. The other thing to plan for is how low the nose sits. Porsche doesn't publish a hard clearance figure for this car, but the front lip is close enough to the road that mall ramps, tight multi-storey entrances and sharp speed bumps all deserve a slow, angled approach. Some cars in this generation carry an optional front-axle lift that raises the nose a few centimetres at low speed, so ask whether the one you're booking has it before you meet your first ramp.
Black paint works against you here more than the colour of most rentals we hand over. A 911 sitting in direct August sun for a few hours comes back hotter than a lighter car would, and the cabin itself is small enough that it heats up quickly with the roof fixed and no vents to spare. The upside is that once you're moving, the front vents pull that heat down fast, and both seats get the same strong airflow with nothing behind them competing for it. Park in shade at the mall where you can, and give it a minute with the doors open before you climb back in on the worst afternoons.
With a 63-litre tank and combined economy around 10.4 L/100km, real-world range sits just over 600 km, so fuel stops aren't something you plan a week of driving around. The rental includes 250 km a day, and anything past that costs AED 0.5 per kilometre, light enough that a day trip to Hatta and back or a run down to Abu Dhabi won't show up as a surprise at return. Salik tolls and any RTA fines picked up during the hire come back to you, standard across our fleet. As a Porsche it rents against a refundable deposit confirmed at booking, so this isn't a no-deposit car, even with the age requirement set lower than usual.
Book the Porsche 911 2025 if you're 21 or older and want the real rear-wheel-drive badge without waiting years for the age requirement to catch up, or if you already know the car and want the purest version of it in our fleet. One or two people, a week where the drive matters more than the cargo, and roads where you can actually use a sports car properly, that's who this suits. The updated turbos make this the sharpest entry-level 911 we've had, and the rear-wheel feel gives you something an all-wheel-drive car can't quite match.
Look elsewhere if you need more than two real seats or a proper boot, in which case a Cayenne carries the same badge with room for a family and their cases. If wider grip or an open roof matters more than outright connection, the all-wheel-drive convertible 911 in our fleet trades some of this car's feel for that, though it also asks you to be 25. And if a stripped-out track weapon is what you're after, that's a different 911 entirely, with no back seats and no frunk to speak of. For a younger driver who's finally old enough to book it, or anyone who wants the 911 in its purest, least diluted form, this is the one.
