We deliver the Nissan Kicks 2025 anywhere in Dubai inside one to two hours, and this is the version of the Kicks worth waiting for. The 2025 car steps up to a 2.0-litre engine and 142 hp, a real jump over the older 1.6 that came before it, and it rides on a noticeably taller body with more ground clearance. Our argument is straightforward: if you want a compact crossover that still parks like a small car but feels less out of breath on the highway, this newer Kicks is the one to book over the earlier model years. It suits a couple or a small family who want height, frugal running, and a car that handles a Dubai week without drama.
The headline change for 2025 is under the bonnet. You get a 2.0-litre four-cylinder making 142 hp, driving the front wheels through a CVT automatic. On paper that's only 20 hp more than the previous Kicks, but you feel it where it counts. Merging onto Sheikh Zayed Road and overtaking at 120 take less planning, and the car doesn't sound strained the way the smaller engine did when you asked for a sudden burst.
It's still a front-drive crossover, not an off-roader, so treat the extra power as highway confidence rather than a licence to leave the tarmac. For the daily mix of city errands and the occasional run out to DXB or DWC, it has enough in reserve to feel relaxed.
| Spec | Figure |

| Power | 142 hp |
| Fuel economy | 15 km/L |
| Fuel tank | 45 litres |

This is where the 2025 Kicks quietly beats most of its rivals. At 213 mm of clearance it sits higher than a lot of crossovers that cost more, which means the steep residential speed bumps, the sharp lips on mall ramps, and the slope into older Marina parking all pass underneath without a wince. You're not crawling over every hump at walking pace.
The flip side of a taller body is that you still want to place it carefully in narrow multi-storey bays, but at 4.37 metres long it's short enough to manage. The high seating position helps you judge the corners and see over traffic, which is half the reason people pick a Kicks in the first place.
Nissan quotes 15 km per litre, and the 45-litre tank works out to roughly 594 km of range. For a normal Dubai week of school runs, mall trips and a couple of longer drives, that's comfortably one fill with room to spare. Sit in heavy Marina traffic with the AC fighting the heat and you'll see that number come down, but even then you're not stopping for fuel every other day.
The running cost that catches renters out isn't petrol, it's Salik. You pay the tolls yourself as you cross the gantries, and they stack up if your route hits Sheikh Zayed Road twice a day. Any RTA fines during the rental also pass to you, so keep an eye on the speed cameras on the E11.
Cabin cooling matters from May through September, and the Kicks does a sensible job for its class. Parked in the sun the interior gets brutally hot, as every car here does, but the front vents hit hard and the cabin isn't huge, so the temperature drops to bearable within a few minutes of driving. Back-seat passengers get airflow pushed through from the front rather than a bank of dedicated rear vents, so on the hottest afternoons the rear settles a little slower than the front. With kids in the back on a midday drive, start the AC and let it run before you load everyone in.
Five seats, and two adults up front have plenty of space. Three across the back is fine for kids or short hops, less so for three grown adults on a long run. With the rear seats folded you open up 60 cubic feet of load space, which swallows a flat-pack run or a week of shopping. With the seats up, think one large case plus soft bags for two people, or a small family's weekend kit. Four adults flying in with full-size suitcases will find it tight, and that's the point where we'd steer you to a bigger crossover.
Rent the Nissan Kicks 2025 if you want the most capable version of this crossover: the stronger 2.0-litre engine, the genuinely tall ride height, and frugal running for a couple or a small family doing city miles with the odd highway stretch. It's the Kicks we'd point most renters toward over the older 1.6-litre cars.
Size up to a larger crossover or a sedan if you regularly carry four adults plus their airport luggage, or if your week is mostly fast highway driving with a full car. For everyone else who wants a raised, easy-to-park runabout that no longer feels short of puff above 100, this is a sensible, economical choice.
