Rent the Kicks if you're one or two people who want a raised seat, a boot that genuinely holds airport luggage, and low running costs for a stretch of Dubai city driving. Commuters, solo residents between cars, and couples doing malls, groceries and the odd airport pickup are exactly its crowd, and it parks where bigger SUVs can't.

Look bigger if you're regularly four adults with cases, or a family that wants rear vents and proper back-seat room through the summer. A mid-size crossover or a sedan will be more comfortable and barely thirstier. And if the plan involves real off-road or dunes, this isn't the car.
