It just doesn't have much in reserve once it's loaded, so plan your overtakes on Sheikh Zayed Road rather than forcing them.

Heat, AC, and the rear rows

Cooling a tall, glassy cabin from a 45-degree soak is the real Dubai test, and the Xpander handles it better than most budget cars because it has rear air vents feeding the second and third rows, not just front blowers. Park it in the sun and the front cabin pulls down quickly; the third row takes a few minutes longer, which is normal for any MPV this size.
