Pay how you like on delivery, card, cash, or a quick tap of Apple Pay or Google Pay, and we'll bring the Mitsubishi Outlander 2025 to your door in Dubai inside a couple of hours. This is the refined version of a familiar family SUV: a midsize three-row crossover with a smarter cabin, a high seating position, and enough modern tech to feel current rather than basic. We rent it as a value seven-seat pick, and the honest pitch is that it does most things a Dubai family week asks for, with two real caveats worth knowing before you book.
The 2025 car sits on the current platform that moved the Outlander up a class in feel. You get a 2.5-litre four-cylinder making 181 hp through a CVT and all-wheel drive, a quiet cabin, and a dashboard that finally looks designed rather than assembled. The driving position is tall and commanding, which residents and visitors both like for merging onto Sheikh Zayed Road and reading traffic three cars ahead.
It's tuned for comfort, not pace. The 2.5 pulls cleanly around town and cruises happily at highway speed, but it's not quick, and the CVT can drone if you bury the throttle to overtake. Plan your overtakes early on the E11 and you'll never notice. For airport runs to DXB or DWC, a school run, and a week of mall and beach trips, the engine is exactly enough.
Seven seats, three rows, but read the fine print the way I would at the desk. The first two rows are genuinely roomy. Two adults up front and three across the middle travel in comfort, with rear vents keeping the second row cool, which matters more than anything in July.
The third row is real, not a marketing line, but it's best for kids or short hops. Two children ride back there fine for a cross-city trip; two adults will manage a 20-minute run and complain after that. The bigger catch is the boot. With all seven seats up, cargo space is tight, enough for a few soft bags or the weekly shop, not a family's airport luggage. Fold the third row and you get a proper, large boot that swallows several suitcases. So the real question is whether you need seven seats and luggage at the same time. If you do, this is the wrong car.

The cabin cools quickly. Park it in the sun at 45 degrees, start it, set the AC to low, and the front vents pull the heat out fast, with the second row getting its own vents so the kids aren't waiting. That rear airflow is the difference between a usable family SUV and a hot box, and the Outlander has it. Because we deliver in one to two hours, you can also have it parked and pre-cooled before everyone climbs in.
At 4.71 metres it's a midsize SUV, not a full-size one, so it parks more easily than its tall stance suggests. Marina towers and mall multi-storeys are manageable, and a 360 camera on the higher trims takes the guesswork out of tight bays. The 213 mm of ground clearance clears Dubai's aggressive speed bumps and steep mall ramps without scraping, which the lower crossovers in this price band can't always claim.
That clearance plus all-wheel drive handles a graded track or a firm beach approach, but it is not a dune car. The road-biased tyres and crossover setup are built for grip in the rain and on loose gravel, not soft sand. For real desert driving, rent a body-on-frame 4x4 instead.
On a week of mixed city and highway driving, expect somewhere around 12 km/L, which lands you a real-world range near 600 km from the 55-litre tank. In practice that's one fill for a normal week, maybe a top-up if you're commuting far daily. Salik tolls run on the car and pass to you, as do any RTA fines, so keep to the limits and the lane discipline. Seatbelts are required in every seat, and children under four need a child seat, which we can fit on request.
Rent the Outlander 2025 if you want a comfortable, well-equipped family SUV for a Dubai week and you'll mostly run five up, with the third row in reserve for the occasional extra kids or a short hop. That's the sweet spot, and at this rate it's a sensible value choice with a nicer cabin than the badge suggests.
Look elsewhere in two cases. If you carry six or seven people and their luggage at once, the boot defeats you, so size up to a larger seven-seater or accept fewer seats for more cargo in a five-seat SUV. And if your trip is built around dune bashing, skip the crossover entirely and take a proper 4x4. For everyone in between, this is an easy car to live with for a week.
