Look elsewhere in two cases. If you are six or seven people, or four adults with a full set of airport cases, size up to a seven-seat SUV. If it is just you running errands and parking is your main worry, a hatchback is cheaper and easier. For most families, though, the CX-5 hits the sweet spot, and that is exactly why it books out.
