The one place it shows its limit is a hard overtake at 120 with the car full, where it runs short of shove. Plan those passes early and you won't notice. For city commuting and weekend runs, the driving experience holds up.

Luggage and whether it fits

The 442-litre boot is honest for the class. Two large hard cases and a couple of soft bags load flat for an airport run, with room for a backpack. Fold the rear bench and the floor opens long and near flat for bulkier loads. The squeeze, as ever, is people plus their stuff at once. Four adults with a week of cases fit fine.
