Lamborghini Huracan 2025 - start from 4,209 AED / day

Blue is the colour Lamborghini reaches for when a paint job needs to look fast standing still, with more of a motorsport edge to it than a black or grey car parked next to it ever manages. Renting a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder 2025 in Dubai gets you that colour on the tail end of a genuinely important generation, the last Huracan built around a screaming, naturally aspirated V10 before Lamborghini handed the badge over to the turbocharged hybrid Temerario. We can have it at your hotel or villa inside one to two hours of booking. What this page settles is whether a two-seat, roof-down supercar actually fits the days you have planned, because it does one job brilliantly and almost nothing else.

The V10, and what it feels like with the roof down

There is no turbo hiding anywhere in this engine, and that is the whole reason to book it while you still can. The 5.2-litre V10 makes 631 hp (640 PS) at 8,000 rpm and 600 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, sent through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox to all four wheels. Lamborghini quotes 3.1 seconds to 100 km/h for the Spyder, a few tenths behind the fixed-roof coupe, because the folding roof and the extra bracing a convertible chassis needs add real weight over the same drivetrain. Top speed still reaches 325 km/h, a number you will see on the dial and nowhere on a public road. Drop the roof and there is nothing left between the engine bay and your ears, so the pull toward 8,000 rpm arrives raw instead of filtered, which is most of what people are actually paying for.

Worth saying plainly: this is one of the last Huracans anyone will get to drive. Lamborghini closed out V10 production in 2024 with the limited STJ, and the nameplate now continues as the Temerario, a turbocharged plug-in hybrid V8. A car badged 2025 like this one comes from the very end of that run rather than a new generation, so the naturally aspirated engine under this bonnet is a shrinking thing to rent, not a growing one.

On the road, the all-wheel-drive system is what turns that noise into something usable rather than nerve-wracking. Coming out of a roundabout onto Sheikh Zayed Road, the front axle picks up drive the moment the rear starts to slip, so a driver who is not tracking cars every weekend can still lean on the throttle without a scare. None of that helps once the asphalt runs out. This is a low, wide convertible with no business off road, and the loose sand out toward Al Qudra will bury the front splitter well before it makes for a good photo.

Two seats and a frunk: the honest cargo reality

Settle the people and the bags before you settle on a date, because it decides more of the trip than the paint does. There are two seats and no rear bench, so it is you and one other person for the whole booking. The folding roof stows into its own compartment behind the seats rather than eating into the frunk, which helps, though that space was never real luggage room to begin with. Everything you carry goes into the compartment under the nose, around 100 litres, enough for a soft holdall or a couple of backpacks and nothing with a hard shell. A wheeled suitcase will not fit, so a DXB or DWC run with real bags needs a second car for the luggage.

Ground clearance sits low, around 125 mm, so a steep basement ramp or a speed bump taken square will catch the front lip. Check with us whether the car you get has the nose lift fitted, because that is what separates clearing a steep entry from scraping it. Day to day the car is shorter than its shape suggests, at 4.5 metres, and the view forward is decent enough that tight mall bays are more manageable than people expect. Take the width slowly in a narrow Marina tower and fold the mirrors in if you are unsure.

ColourBlue

A blue cabin, fuel and running cost

Blue earns its keep in a Dubai summer in a way black paint never will. Left in an open car park through the afternoon, a lighter colour like this reflects more of the sun than a dark one does, so the bodywork and door handles stay a touch more bearable to touch when you get back to it. The cabin underneath is small regardless of what is painted outside, wrapped tightly around two seats with a lot of glass close by, so the first minute after you climb back in at midday is still rough. Once you are moving, the air conditioning has very little volume to cool and pulls the temperature down fast, quicker than it would in a full-size saloon. Rear vents are not something to check, given there is no rear seat to put them behind.

The roof itself takes 17 seconds to drop or raise and you can do it rolling at up to 50 km/h, so there is no need to plan the moment far in advance. The honest advice is to keep it up through the worst of the afternoon heat and save the drop for after sunset, when the temperature has come down and the V10 is audible over the wind rather than fighting it.

A few costs to plan around. The 83-litre tank wants premium fuel and empties quickly once you start using the revs, so budget for a stop if the day involves real driving. Salik tolls and RTA fines both land on you as the renter, and seat belts are mandatory in every seat. As a supercar, this one is booked against a refundable deposit rather than any no-deposit offer, so budget for that upfront. The daily allowance is 250 km, extra kilometres cost AED 0.5 each, and the minimum age to drive it is 25.

Book this Huracan for the drive, not the distance

Book this if there are two of you, travelling light, and the plan is one evening or one day built around the drive, the sound and a colour that photographs the way people expect a Lamborghini to photograph. The fact that this is one of the last naturally aspirated V10 Huracans is a real reason to book this generation now rather than wait, since the Temerario that replaces it runs on a different, quieter formula built around forced induction and electric assistance.

Two kinds of renter should look elsewhere. If a third seat or a proper suitcase is part of the trip, no Huracan solves that, and a Urus wears the same badge and adds five seats plus a boot with real capacity. If the whole appeal is the drive and the sound with none of the roof planning, the fixed-roof coupe weighs less, is a couple of tenths quicker to 100 km/h, and never asks you to think about when the top should be down. For anyone chasing one loud, blue, top-down evening in the last of the naturally aspirated Huracans, this is the one worth booking.
