Kia Seltos 2025 - start from 209 AED / day

Payment stays flexible and is settled on delivery, so you can sort out the Kia Seltos 2025 the day it reaches you rather than wiring anything ahead. We bring this compact crossover to your door in Dubai, keys in hand, usually within a couple of hours. It's the kind of car that suits a couple or a small family who want a higher seat, a real boot and the latest screen-and-camera kit without paying mid-size SUV money. This page is here to help you settle one thing: whether the Seltos is the right size and the right value for your week, or whether you should size up or down.

What the Seltos actually is

Think of the Seltos as a tall hatchback with SUV manners. You sit higher than you would in a Rio or a Picanto, and the cabin is wide enough that two adults up front never feel they're sharing an armrest. The 2025 car carries the updated face and a larger central display, so the tech feels current rather than a generation behind.

It runs a 1.5-litre petrol engine through a CVT automatic, front-wheel drive. That's 113 horsepower, enough rather than abundant. Around the city it's smooth and quiet, and it pulls away from lights without fuss. Ask it to overtake at speed on Sheikh Zayed Road and the CVT makes the engine sing before much happens. You learn to plan your moves, and once you do, it settles into a relaxed cruiser.

Does your luggage fit

The boot is one of the Seltos's strongest cards. At roughly 433 litres it swallows a large case plus a couple of soft bags with the rear seats up, which covers a DXB airport run for two with a week's luggage. Add a third passenger's case and you're folding part of the back seat or stacking on the parcel shelf. For four adults flying in with full-size cases each, it gets tight, and you'd be happier in a sedan boot or a bigger SUV.

Day to day the back seats matter more than the boot. Two child seats fit across with room for a parent between them, and the rear bench is genuinely usable for adults on shorter trips. Mall runs, a Carrefour stock-up, a beach day with the cooler and chairs: the Seltos handles all of it without you playing luggage Tetris.

Heat, AC and the cabin

This is the question that decides a Dubai rental in July, and the Seltos answers it well. The cabin is mid-sized, so the AC doesn't have a cavern to fill. Park it in the sun at 45 and the front vents pull the temperature down quickly once you're moving, faster than most small hatches manage simply because the compressor isn't fighting a huge glass area. Rear passengers get their own vents at the back of the centre console, which is the detail that keeps kids in the back from cooking on a longer drive out to the desert edge. Crack the windows for thirty seconds first to dump the worst of the trapped heat, then let it run.

The cabin itself is sensible rather than plush. The plastics are hard in places and you won't mistake it for a Tucson inside, but everything's where you expect it, the screen is responsive, and the wireless phone mirroring just works. For a rental, sensible is exactly right.

Parking, ramps and getting around

At 4.43 metres the Seltos slots into standard mall bays without the breath-holding you do in a full-size SUV, and the reversing camera plus sensors handle tight multi-storey corners. The steering is light, so U-turns on a busy road are easy.

Ground clearance sits around 190 mm, more than enough for Dubai's speed bumps and the steeper Marina and mall ramps. You won't scrape the nose on a sharp driveway. This is a road car, though, so treat soft sand and rocky tracks as out of scope. For Hatta trails or dune work you want proper four-wheel drive.

Fuel, range and the running week

The roughly 50-litre tank paired with the 1.5-litre engine means you're not living at the pump. In real Dubai conditions, mostly city stop-and-go with AC blasting, expect somewhere in the region of 8 to 9 litres per 100 km, which works out to a comfortable week of mixed driving on one or two fills. Lean it out on highway cruising and the figure improves. Sit in Salik-gate traffic at peak hour and it climbs. Either way, the Seltos is cheap to keep moving by SUV standards.

A few Dubai admin points worth knowing: Salik tolls and any RTA fines during your rental are yours to settle, seat belts are mandatory in every seat, and children under four need a proper child seat. None of that is specific to the Seltos, but it catches first-time visitors out.

Who should rent it, and who shouldn't

Rent the Seltos if you're a couple or a family of three or four who want the higher view, the bigger boot and the current tech without stepping up in price. It's a safe, well-equipped value pick for a Dubai week, easy to park, comfortable in the heat, and relaxed once you stop expecting it to sprint.

Look elsewhere in two cases. If you regularly load four adults with full luggage or you want real overtaking punch on the E11, size up to a Tucson or a Creta for the extra space and a stronger engine. If it's only ever you and one passenger on short city hops, a hatch will cost less to run and park even more easily. For the broad middle, the small family that wants a proper SUV shape on a sensible budget, the 2025 Seltos is one of the easiest cars on the lot to recommend.
