Few seven-seaters in Dubai come this cheap to run, and almost none let you drive as far as you like without watching the meter. We rent the Jetour X70 2023 with 250 km a day included and nothing charged on the extra kilometres, delivered to your door in one to two hours. It's a 1.5-litre turbo SUV with seven seats and 156 hp through an automatic to the front wheels, and the reason it books is the maths: a full third row and unlimited-feeling mileage on an economy rate. The decision this page helps you make is whether that cheap third row genuinely fits your group and your luggage, because the catch with any seven-seater is space, and we'll lay it out plainly.
Most seven-seat rentals nickel-and-dime you on distance. This one doesn't: the 250 km daily allowance carries no overage charge, so a long day to the east coast or a string of cross-city school runs won't quietly add to the bill. That matters more than the headline rate for anyone who actually drives a full week.
Fuel backs it up. The 1.5-litre turbo is reasonable for an SUV this size, returning real-world figures in the low teens of km/L in mixed driving, more on a steady cruise and less when you load all seven seats and lean on the AC. With the 55-litre tank, a normal city week runs to roughly one fill, with a top-up before a long out-of-town day. Two costs stay with you regardless: Salik tolls bill to the renter at each gantry, and RTA fines during the rental pass to you, so watch your gates and the cameras.

The third row is real, not a token, but size it honestly. It's genuinely fine for kids and works for adults on a short hop to the restaurant or the beach, while two grown-ups won't want to sit back there for a long Hatta run. Used the way most families use a third row, occasional and flexible, it earns its keep, and the middle row slides and folds to get people in and out.
Then there's the boot, which is the number people skip. With all seven seats up, the space behind the third row is small, around 430 litres, enough for a few soft bags and backpacks but not a family's suitcases. So the airport maths is real. Carry seven people from DXB or DWC and you'll fit the people but not the cases. Fold the third row flat and the X70 becomes a five-seater with a proper boot that takes two large suitcases and the soft bags comfortably. The honest rule: seven seats or full luggage, rarely both at once.
The 1.5-litre turbo and 156 hp move a loaded SUV around town and onto Sheikh Zayed Road without strain, though it's a relaxed engine rather than a quick one. With seven aboard and the AC working you'll plan an overtake a little earlier, which is normal for the class and the price. Top speed sits around 180 km/h, well past anything the E11 asks of you. It's front-wheel drive, so treat it as a road and light-track SUV: a gravel car park or a graded desert-edge road is fine, but soft sand wants a proper low-range 4x4.
Park a three-row SUV in July sun and there's a lot of trapped air to shift. The X70's front vents bring the cabin down at a fair pace once you're moving, but give the fans a few minutes to push cold air back to the rear rows, and crack the windows for the first half-minute to dump the worst of the heat. A child seat is required for under-fours, which we'll fit on request, and it's worth flagging on a seven-seat booking.
On the road it's a wide car at 1900 mm, so older Marina towers and tight mall basements want the cameras and a slow turn, though the bays do take it. It sits high enough to clear Dubai's speed bumps and raised community entrances without drama and gives you a commanding view over traffic, which is half the appeal of an SUV in city driving.
Rent the Jetour X70 2023 if you need seven seats on a tight budget and your week involves a big group, visiting family, or a school run that outgrew a five-seater, especially if you'll cover real distance, where the free extra kilometres pay off. The flexible third row and the SUV body are the draw, and the rate undercuts the established seven-seaters. Skip it if you must carry seven people and their luggage at once, where a larger SUV with a deeper boot earns its keep, or if it's just two of you who'll never fold the back row down, in which case a smaller SUV parks tighter and drinks less. For families chasing the extra row without the extra cost, the X70 is the value call.
