The Jetour T2 2025 looks ready for Hatta before you even open the door: flared wheel arches, a raised stance, and 220mm of ground clearance most SUVs at this rate never get near. Jetour is Chery's newer off-road-styled brand in the UAE, and renting the T2 2025 in Dubai puts a genuinely turbocharged, all-wheel-drive SUV under you rather than the front-drive crossover most badges at this price ship instead. We get it to your door within one to two hours of booking. This page settles what the styling promises against what the hardware actually delivers, because on this car the two aren't quite the same thing.

Jetour builds the T2 around a 2.0-litre turbocharged four making 251 hp and 390 Nm, sent through an 8-speed torque-converter automatic rather than the twin-clutch gearbox some rivals fit to chase efficiency numbers. That choice suits Dubai traffic. A torque converter shrugs off the stop-start heat soak that can make a DCT hesitate or judder at a red light on Sheikh Zayed Road, and it still finds overtaking speed without much fuss once the road opens up.
Drive goes to all four wheels through a BorgWarner-supplied system with an electronic limited-slip differential, so this isn't a badge-only AWD crossover that sends power forward and calls it a day. The 220mm ground clearance is genuinely tall for the class, and it clears the ruts and washboard on the way into Hatta better than most car-based SUVs manage. What Jetour doesn't quote for this grade is a low-range transfer case or locking front and rear differentials, so the honest read is a strong wet-weather and graded-track AWD SUV, not a dune-bashing 4x4. For rough approach roads and light trails it has more in reserve than it needs. For actual dune driving, rent something built and rated for that job instead.
At 4,785mm long on a 2,800mm wheelbase, the T2 has the footprint to back up its tall styling. Two adults sit with real legroom in the back for a highway run to Abu Dhabi, and three across works for a short mall trip without anyone folding their knees into the front seatback. The boot holds 520 litres with the rear seats up, enough for two large cases and a couple of soft bags for a week's airport pickup, and folding the bench opens that to 1,420 litres if you're doing a supermarket run or picking up flatpack furniture.
The width is the number to plan your parking around. At just over 2 metres across mirrors, the T2 wants a proper look before you commit to an older multi-storey column or a tight Marina tower bay, and the height means you'll clear most mall ramps with room to spare rather than crawling over a speed bump wondering if you'll scrape. This is a car that's happier in open surface parking or a wide bay than squeezed into a compact basement built for hatchbacks.
The T2's rental terms are unusual in a good way. Instead of a daily cap, you get 4,000 km to use across the whole rental, and only kilometres past that run AED 2.0 each. For a week-long booking that works out to well over 500 km a day if you needed it, which means a Hatta morning, an Abu Dhabi day trip and normal city driving all fit inside the same allowance without you doing mental arithmetic at the end of each day. The minimum age to rent it is 21, younger than the 25 several mainstream SUVs in this class still require.
Jetour's own combined economy figure for the 2.0T sits around 9.5 km/l, or roughly 10.5 litres per 100km. Dubai traffic with the AC running constantly will push real-world consumption higher, closer to 13 L/100km across a week of city driving and errands. Even at that rate the 70-litre tank stretches to around 530 km, so most renters fill up once or maybe twice across a full week. Salik tolls land on your bill automatically as you pass a gate, and any RTA fine picked up during the rental is the renter's to settle, same as any car here. On heat, the T2's cabin is bigger than a compact crossover's, so give the front vents a few extra minutes after climbing back in from a parking lot before you judge the cooling. Once it settles, it holds a comfortable cabin through a normal drive.
Rent the T2 2025 if you want real turbocharged power and all-wheel-drive traction rather than a front-drive crossover wearing SUV cladding, and you're planning a week that mixes city driving with a Hatta or Abu Dhabi run where the 4,000 km allowance and the 220mm of clearance actually get used. It's also the easier car for a younger renter to book, since the minimum age is 21 rather than the 25 most mid-size SUVs in this class ask for.
Pay up for a Fortuner, a Duster or another established name if you need genuine low-range off-road capability or want the resale and service history of a badge with a longer track record in the UAE. Consider a smaller crossover instead if tight parking matters more to you than ground clearance, since the T2's width asks more of a tight bay than a compact SUV does. For a week that actually uses the mileage and the AWD, the T2 earns the rate it rents at.
