The AWD is the modern kind that shuffles power to a wheel when it slips, not a low-range setup with a locking diff. On wet roundabouts and the odd graded track it adds grip and confidence. It is not a dune weapon, and I'll be honest about that below.

Space for the family and the luggage

The cabin is where the T2 quietly out-punches its rate. Two adults up front and three across the back travel comfortably, and the boot is the standout at 752 litres. That's a family-of-four airport haul with room to spare: two large cases, a couple of soft bags, and the day's shopping go in without folding a seat.
