Highway, Salik and refuelling

On Sheikh Zayed Road the JS4 cruises at 120 happily enough. The turbo gives you a usable shove for overtaking, though push it hard above 120 and the CVT lets the engine drone, and you feel that you're in a value crossover rather than a quiet, planted one. For airport hops to DXB or the longer pull out to DWC it's perfectly comfortable. Keep your expectations honest on long fast stretches and it won't disappoint you.

The 55-litre tank is generous for the class. Around town with the AC running flat out you'll realistically see roughly 8 litres per 100 km, which puts a real-world range comfortably past 600 km on a tank. For most renters that means filling up once in a normal week. Petrol is cheap here, so the running cost stays low.
